1. Please comply strictly with all the alarms and operation instructions in this
manual and on the device, and keep this manual properly. Please do not operate this device prior to reading all the instructions on safety and operation.
2.Please set the maximum power-off protection allowed by power circuit as
per the rated current information indicated on the device with reference to the local state rules, safety procedures and disconnector deviation.
3. The unit can only be connected to a grounded power outlet or system.
4. Make sure the total current output of all the connected systems within the
rated current indicated on the device.
5. Replacement with wrong types of battery may result in explosion, and used
batteries should be disposed as per relevant regulations.
6. The test results of this device may be inaccurate giving instable power
supply.
7. Avoid using this device in places near water or moisture environments. Warning: In order to avoid a fire hazard or risk of electrical shock, do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
8. Wipe with cry cloth only.
9. Use the attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer only.
10. All repairs and maintenances should be performed by qualified personnel. The unit should be sent to professional personnel for maintenance whatever damage it has, such as:

1-1 Product Introduction
DigiPDU SMLW series (hereinafter referred to as SMLW series) consolidates current monitoring, device temperature monitoring, web page management, message, e-mail, and SNMP functions together to enable MIS staff to be informed with the power supply, temperature of equipment, and thereby to remotely deal with the relevant problems through Internet. In this way, problems can be solved timely, helping to reduce the losses of enterprises.
SMLW series allows managers to manage hundreds of SMLW series products at a single interface through IDCView central control software, accordingly greatly simplifying the issue of device network IP management.

1-3 Product features
LCD panel displays current information, max alarm current, device
temperature and network information.
Five sides button provides upper and lower, left and right to see the
information; the middle button can setup parameter.
Support Multi browser (IE, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and
Netscape).
Web page supports 1024-bit SSL security encryption transmission. Web Page supports multi-national languages. Provide guidance daemon to ease users' setting of parameters. User permission divided into system administrator/manager/ordinary
user.

1-4 System requirements
The computer BIOS connecting to the power outlet should support
Wake on LAN or System after AC Back in order to smoothly turn on the computer power supply.
Use windows operation system (XP, 2000 and above) in order to safely
shut down the computer.
Safe shut-down program should be instalLCD and executed on the
computer (downloaded from web pages or gain from the software CD attached with the product) .

key pressing in panel operation area of 6-7 peripheral Parameters, it is
also possible to set LCD menu to return to total power if no subsequent
operation within the seconds set.

The first mode of LCD is total current, switching with five sides button down to show in a regular turn of current info, max current, inner temp and
Network info as below: (Press left of the five sides button, it would show the
opposite detection.)
Press five sides button for left and right side; it would show in a regular turn of every secondary item.
Some of the pictures only use in 30/32A SMLW PDU.

When LCD shows the maximum total current record hold the five side
button in the middle for 3 seconds with a long beep to zero the maximal current records.
When LCD menu shows current info hold five side button in the middle
for 3 seconds with a long beep to enter alarm current setting. For modification of alarm current, press to increase the alarm current by 0.5A in each press. After increasing to the maximal alarm current, the value will return back to 0.5A again, and this will cycle. Once the alarm current reaches the wanted value, hold Function for 3 seconds with a "beep" to end the setting.
When LCD menu shows network info, hold five side button for 10
seconds with two beeps to enter reset mod. See Set back to factory
default values.

Chapter 4 First Operation
In this section users can learn how to query devices, IP and how to set language, account password, network and time zone through daemon.
4-1 Network connection
After the device connects to the network, IP can be acquired automatically through DHCP server (The device IP will be preset as192.168.1.10) if there is no DHCP server), the acquired IP can be displayed by LCD panel (Relevant operation referred to 3-2 Total current and
IP operation) or device IP can be searched by IP Search Utility (Relevant
operation referred to Chapter 13 Search IP Utility).
4-2 Setup Wizard
If the device is First- time- setting or clearing all the parameters by pressing RESET for 10s, after it connected to the Internet, browser would pop up Setup Wizard providing language, account, password, network and time zone.

DNS setting
Key in the DNS server, provided by ISP providers, then, you can set
up two DNS servers.
If you do not know your DNS server address, please check it from
Windows O/S by these steps: Go to START>ALLPROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>COMMAND PROCESSOR> Please enter: C\>nslookup> , get DNS Server Address.

Web Server
When you link the Net via browser (ex. IE) to SMLW remote power
control, you may have two ways: one is the usual way – HTTP, the other is a security measure – HTTPS.
Comment setting-- rolling down for Http or, Https as concern
transmissions.
If you want a security measure instead of HTTP (The default is 80) or
HTTPS (The default is 443), you can change HTTP port to 8080 for instance. Then, enter the IP address followed by the new HTTP port (http://192.168.1.10:8080).
Click Next as finished.

Time Server Setting
User can setup device time synchronize with Time Server.
Sync with time server: When this option enabled, device time will synchronize
with time server.
Time Server: Please fill in time server IP address or click to select time server
option list.
Time Server List: It provides many types for user to select. Click “Confirm”
after selected.

Time zone
Please fill in the time zone where the device is. The system is based on
Greenwich Mean Time, thus; an accuracy setting to time zone may affect the time record of events and chart.

At MONITOR tab, users can not only setup overload current, high alarm and low alarm of total current, branch1 and branch 2 but view relevant peripheral parameters of total current, branch current, voltage, frequency, power factor, watts, Kwh and device temp.

(1) Voltage: Display the voltage of the current input power (2) Frequency: Display the voltage frequency of current input power (only
applicable built-in Wart-hour module).
(3) Power factor: Display the power factor of current input power (only
applicable built-in Wart-hour module).
(4) Device Temperature: Displays the current temperature of the device.

(5) Power: Display the consumption power value of the current input power. (6) Total current: Displays the currently total power consumption. (7) Branch 1 current: Display branch 1 current consumption of the device
(only applicable to 30 /32 A).
(8) Branch 2 current: Display branch 2 current consumption of the device
(only applicable to 30 /32 A).
(9) Wart-hour: Display the consumption wart-hour of the device since the last
zeroing (only applicable built-in Wart-hour module).
Overload current: Input the current value of the overload power, alarms will
be given when the input power current exceeds this alarm value.
High Alarm: Set up the values of high infeed alarm. When current is higher
than you set, the alarm will occur.
Low Alarm: Set up the values of low infeed alarm. When current is lower than
you set, the alarm will occurred.

In this web page, users can set Network, Email server, Message server,
SNMP, SysLog, IDCView, Serial Port, Peripheral parameters, and other relevant data.
6-1 Network setting
This menu is mainly for setting the basic data of network.
Enabled DHCP: Use checkbox to enable DHCP. It will assign IP address. Host: Assign the Network IP address for the power switch. Subnet Mask: Set up the subnet mask info of this equipment. Gateway: Set up the gateway port of this equipment. MAC:Set up the MAC address of this equipment. Primary DNS Server: Configure the IP and DNS server addresses for
Network Adapter 1.

Secondary DNS Server: Configure the IP and DNS server addresses for
Network Adapter 2.
Enabled Http: Allow browser to connect with smart monitor by HTTP. Enabled Https: Allow browser to connect with smart monitor by HTTP
SSL.
Http Port: Provide browser to communicate by HTTP with smart monitor. Https Port: Provide browser to communicate by HTTP SSL with smart
monitor.
Disable ICMP Response: When Disable ICMP Response check box is
selected, the examination will not be responded.

Ping Test: Determine whether the device with the IP address or DNS name
you specify is connected to the network.
Click Ping Test will show as below:
Host: Enter the Host IP address for test.
Test: The ping results will be displayed in the Result panel.
Please press “Confirm” to store setup after finished.
6-2 E-mail server
When there is a triggered warning from the setup of this power switch,
this device will send out alert message to the preset email accounts.
Host: It is the Host IP address of the e-mail sending an alarm e-mail when an
event occurs.
Port: It is the port of SMTP mail server. Default is 25.

SMTP TLS secure connection: Check to enable e-mail encryption. 'From' Address: It will show on the sender text entry box as recipients receipt
the mail.
Subject: It will show on the subject text entry box as recipients receipt the
mail.
SMLWTP Authorization: If mail server needs to identify the user, please
enable the checkbox and setup the account and password.
Username: The account to log in mail server. Password: The password to log in mail server.
Email Test: After set up the above info, you can send a test mail to make sure
this function is normal.
Click Test, the window will pop up as below:
'Send To' Address: Enter the EMAIL address for test. Contents: Enter the message for test.
Test: Test result will be displayed at the black area after pressed test button.
Please press “Confirm” to store setup after finished.

6-3 SMS server
In this section, user can set up the warning message and info to the SMS
server. The protocol here has being supported by many SMS suppliers’ (ISP)
API. System will send out account, password, time, and related info via HTTP to the SMS server of ISP supplier or preset SMS server.
Host: Host IP address of SMS Server. Transmission Mode: Follow ISP suppliers’ rules to send out short message
via GET or POST protocol to sender’s server.
Device Name: The name user wants to reveal. Account: The account to fill in when sending SMS. The same as
@@ACCOUNT@@.
Password: The password to fill in when sending SMS. The same as
@@PASSWORD@@.
Message Format:
We provide “auto bring-in” system with username, password, number, main host and message content.

Message Format is related to your message content, content may not stay the same as well.

6-4 SNMP setting
You can setup SNMP Agent and SNMP Trap in this page.
SNMP v1 / v2c Agent
Enabled v1 / v2 SNMP: Enabled SNMP v1 / v2 Agent. SNMP Port: Enter Set the destination port. Default is 161. Read Community: Key in passwords for the Community Name fields.
Default is public.
SNMP Writing: Select the checkbox to enable SNMP Write-in. Write Community: Key in passwords for the Community Name fields.
Default is private.
SNMP v3 Agent
Enabled v3 SNMP: Enabled SNMP v3 Agent. User name: The name SNMP v3 command. Type: There are two types: Read Only, Read and Write.

Authorization type: There are two types: MD5 or SHA. Authorization password: The password of authorization type. Used MD5
or SHA.
Private type: There are two types: No or DES. Private password: Private type password, use DES type. Select DES
type to key in password.
SNMP Device info
sysName: The name displayed on SNMPAgent. sysContact: The contact displayed on SNMPAgent. sysLocation: The location displayed on SNMPAgent.
SnmpTrap
Host: The Host IP address of SNMP Trap. SNMP Trap Port: The phase connects to SNMP Trap. Default is 162. Authentication String: The authentication string to access SNMP Trap.
Click ADD to continue the setting. To remove it, please presses delete.

Set back to factory default values
Users who forget the network account and password of the product can press "Reset" to recover to the factory default values, and the device will be rebooted at the same time.
1. In Network info press five side button for 10 seconds with two beeps to
enter Set back to factory default values.
2. Select Reset Account & IP, admin account and password will be set as
admin (add a new account if no admin account), while the function of IDCView only is cancel. Device IP will be automatically acquired through DHCP (if no DHCP server, then the device IP should be preset as
192.168.1.10), the acquired IP can be displayed by LCD panel. (for the relevant operation, see 3-2 Total current and IP operation).
3. Select RESET ALL to clear all the data of the device. (Kilo Watt per Hour
