3. In general
3.1 LNB
We do not recommend, that you connect more than one SMATV 112 to one
universal LNB. We recommend, that you use a quattro or twin LNB instead.
4. Display
When the receiver is not beeing programmed, it will show information about:
CHANNEL NAME
TEMPERATURE (how warm is the receiver)
PERIOD SINCE LAST RESTART
BIT ERROR RATE
NOTICE! If the display is ashing, the receiver has had a problem, and
has been restartet (via the Watchdog function).
5. Menu
Press ENTER to activate the menu, and then press ENTER again to open the
menu. In the display you will always be able to see, which possibility you have
to navigate. If p and q is shown in the display, then you are able to navigate up
and down in the menu. The same goes for t and u if shown, you can navigate
left and right in the menu.
5.1 1-LNB Setup
5.1.1 1-1-DiSEqC
With Æ you can choose between the following possibilities:
None = No DiSEqC
1 = DiSEqC input 1
2 = DiSEqC input 2
3 = DiSEqC input 3
4 = DiSEqC input 4

5.1.3. 1-3-LNB Power
ON turns on the power to the LNB
OFF turns off the power to the LNB
5.1.4. 1-4--22 KHz
Is only used if the 22KHz switch is mounted between the receiver and the LNB.
5.2 2-Tuner
In the TUNER menu, you can adjust the frequency on the transponder you wish
to receive.
5.2.1 2-1-Frequency
Press ENTER to open the menu of FREQUENCY adjustment.

5.2.3 2-3-Symbolrate
You can choose between the following symbolrates 22000, 22500, 24500, 26000,
27500, 27800 and 28000. If you need another specic symbolrate, you can type it
in by pressing ENTER.
5.3 3-Channel
When you press ENTER, the receiver will start searching for the programmes,
which match the values you have programmed into the receiver. When the
search is over, you have following possibilities:
5.3.1 3-1-Select channel
With t or u you can choose the channels you want to receive.
5.3.2 3-2-Audio Track
With t or u you can choose the audio track you want to receive.
ATTENTION: The receiver will only give information about the audio track, if the channel can be reached.
5.3.3 3-3-Subtitle
WIth t or u you can choose the subtitles you want to use.
ATTENTION: The receiver will only give information about subtitles, if the channel can be reached.
5.3.4 3-4-Program ID
If the receiver can not search the channel, you have the possibility to type in the
program ID, and search the channel this way.

The value is only typed in, if the receiver can not nd the channel under normal search.
5.3.6 3-6-APID
The value is only typed in, if the receiver can not nd the channel under normal search.
5.3.7 3-7-PCR PID
The value is only typed in, if the receiver can not nd the channel under normal search.
5.3.8 3-8-Subtitle PID
The value is only typed in, if the receiver can not show any subtitles.
The PID-information is available by the program distributor.
5.3.9 3-9-Aspect Adjust
In letterbox mode, the receiver converts a 16:9 picture to 4:3 picture.

5.4 4-Audio Output
The volume can be adjusted, so that it is the same as the other channels.
5.4.1 4-1-Volume Level
Press ENTER and type in a value.
5.5 5-Reset Receiver
Resets the receiver.
5.5.1 5-1-Conrm Reset
If you choose YES and then ENTER, the receiver will reset within a short while.
NOTICE! THIS WILL RESET ALL SETTINGS.
5.6 6-Fan Control
Choose when the fans must start (35°C is recommended).
5.6.1 6-1-Temperature
Choose between the dened values and press ENTER.
5.7 7-Smartcard Update
If the programme card is not updated, you can turn off the watchdog option. When
the card is updated, the receiver will turn on the wathdog option again automatically.
5.7.1 7-1-Watchdog
Choose between ON or OFF.

5.8 8-Smartcard
Gives informations about the programme card.This information comes with the
CVBS signal.
5.9 9-Common Interface
Gives information about the card in the Common Interface slot. This information
comes with the CVBS signal.
5.10 10-Alarm Report
In this menu you can see the last 10 problems that has made the receiver restart.
5.11 11-Software Version
Shows the software version in the receiver.
5.12 12-Update Receiver
Press ENTER and the receiver will update the software from Sirius 5° East,
if it´s available.
