each position:
on
-CPC is the abbreviation for Calling
Party Control. Telephone systems that
use
CPC generate a disconnect signal
when a caller hangs up. The Model

switch is on. This means that the
Model 680 will hang up if a caller
hangs up during an announcement.
This will free your phone line immedi-
ately for the next call.
off
-If the switch is off, the unit will not
be able to detect a
signal. If a caller hangs up during an
announcement, the unit will play the
entire announcement, plus any repeat
cycles, before hanging up. If your
telephone system is causing unwanted
disconnects, then you may want to set
the switch to off.
