Multipoint Monitor System
The MP100 Multipoint Monitor, along with DicksonWare, allows you to monitor multiple instruments simultaneously from one PC. Select Loggers to view, graph, or download. One MP100 connects 8 units to one PC up to 1000’ away. Connecting 9 MP100’s together creates a network of 64 units. (Refer to Connection Diagram.)

Operating Information
Power: Attach the plug end of the AC adapter to PWR jack in the rear of the unit. Verify that the GREEN indicator is lit.
Cables: The MP100 comes with a 25-foot cable to connect the MP100 to your PC. This distance, 25 feet, is the maximum distance allowable for reliable operation. To connect from the MP100 to Data Loggers, a download cable is required. This download cable is included with the extension cable accessories and the software. Simply connect the phone plug end of the download cable into the Logger and connect the other end to the MP100.
For greater distances, up to 1000 feet, extension cables may be inserted between the MP100 and the download cable. To connect one MP100 to another MP100, extension cables may be used for distances up to 1000 feet.
Set Up: To set-up the MP100 for your specific application, you might need to change one of the Dip Switches. The Dip Switches are located underneath the unit. Refer to Dip Switch Set-Up on page 3.

Dip Switch Set-Up
To set-up the MP100 for your specific application, you might need to change some of the Dip Switches. The Dip Switches are located underneath the unit. Use a pen or small screw driver to flip the switches.

Factory Service and Returns
We recommend that damaged instruments be returned to our factory for complete repair. Before returning any instrument or package, please call for a Return Authorization (RA) number. When calling, please have the following information available:
1. P.O. number for out-of-warranty units.
2. Serial number of unit.
3. Model number of unit.
4. The problem you're experiencing with unit.
Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package and return the instrument, ship­ping prepaid. Delivery will be refused for pack­ages sent without RA numbers.
The Dickson Warranty
Dickson warrants the MP100 will be free from defects in material and workmanship or accidental damage for a period of twelve months after deliv­ery. In the event of a claim under this warranty, the product or part must be returned to the factory for repair or replacement (shipping prepaid) with a Return Authorization Number (See repair infor­mation above). It will be repaired or replaced at Dickson’s option without charge.
The foregoing warranty and remedy are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties either expressed or implied. Dickson shall not be liable for conse­quential or incidental damages resulting from failure or malfunction of its products. Dickson makes no warranty for products not manufactured by it or for any products modified by buyer, or subject to misuse or neglect.
