WARRANTY – Each Diamond Press tool comes with a limited one (1) year warranty against defects in product manufacturing workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and specified conditions. The warranty shall be valid for a period of one (1) year starting from the date of original purchase. To receive a valid warranty the customer must register their Diamond Press tool within sixty(60) days of the date of original purchase. Diamond Press reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product at its own discretion. Should Diamond Press opt to furnish a replacement tool, Diamond Press agrees to provide either a replacement product equal to the original purchase model, or a newer tool model. Shipping and handling fees for product return back to Diamond Press (including shipping, handling, packing, return postage and insurance) are to be paid for by the customer in order for warranty to be claimed. Any claim for defective merchandise returns must be packed in original packaging. The repaired tool or replacement tool will be shipped back to the customer at the expense of Diamond Press. Inserting paper, or any other cutting or embossing materials, into the tool that are thicker than 300 GSM, 0.014 inches or 0.32 mm shall automatically void the warranty. Diamond Press strongly advises that the customer only use certified Diamond Press brand die cutting and embossing products together with Diamond Press tools. Diamond Press strongly advises against using any other brand of die cutting or embossing products in Diamond Press brand tools as most metal materials will not properly pass through the tool and can cause damage. If the tool is damaged due to misuse or neglect by the customer, the warranty shall be null and void. For warranty questions or issues please email support@mydiamondpress.com or call US Toll-free 844-807-7887. 3.
Insert the folder in the opening of the Diamond Press II tool. Use one hand to hold the tool in place as your thumb gently guides the folder into the machine. Use your other hand to turn the handle.
• Do NOT put more than 1 sheet of paper, or other material, through the tool at one time.
• Do NOT force the handle. If it becomes too dicult to turn, reverse the handle and remove the folder. This is an indication that you are trying to cut or emboss something too thick.
• Do NOT cut anything thicker than 270 GSM, 0.011 in. or 0.28 mm.
Open the folder and remove your creation!
4.
• Dies will cause cut marks in blank folders, this is a normal part of use. In order to maximize the life of the folder, rotate the side of the folder that touches the cut-side of the die.
• When embossing a full strip of paper there may be a wave in the paper after it is embossed. This is normal, use your hands to smooth it out.
TIP: The base of the Diamond Press II tool is made of rubber to help minimize movement while using. Should it suction to the table surface, pull up on the rubber tab to release it.
