TO PNEUMATICALLY CONNECT THE PG7000S OR RPMS TO THE MPC1-D

• MPC1-D is intended for controlling pressures in a high line differential pressure system where there is a “high” side and

a “low”. The instructions below should be repeated, once for the high side and once for the low side. See the MPC1-D
Operation and Maintenance manual for a schematic of a typical system layout.

• If you are using RPMs (not PG7000s) go directly to Step pb.

n Remove gland, collar and plastic plug from the PG7000 TEST port.
o Install gland and collar onto 1/8 in. tube x DH200 male adaptor supplied in PG7000 accessories.

Note that the collar threads left handed. Assure it is properly attached. The orange plastic plug is
not used.

pa PG7000 - Screw the adaptor (as assembled) into the PG7000 TEST port. Torque to 15 Nm (Newton

meter).

pb RPM3 - Screw 1/8 in. tube x 1/8 in. NPT male adaptor into the RPM3 TEST port using Teflon tape as

a seal.

q Screw 1/8 in. tube x 1/8 in. NPT male adaptor into MPC1 TEST port using Teflon tape as a seal.
ra To use quick connect stand for TEST connection: Install reducing union into quick connecting head.

Mount quick connect stand on bench using mounting holes provided.

rb To use 1/4 in. NPT female adaptor for TEST connection: Install 1/8 in. tube x 1/4 in. NPT female

adaptor onto ends of tube from MPC1-D TEST port (Step u below).

s Screw 1/8 in. tube x 1/8 in. NPT male adaptor into MPC1 REF port using Teflon tape as a seal.
t Connect PG7000 or RPM3 to MPC1-D REF port by cutting a piece of 1/8 in. SS tubing to desired

length and swage together.

u Connect quick connect stand or 1/8 in. tube x 1/4 in. NPT female adaptor to MPC1-D TEST port by

cutting a piece of 1/8 in. SS tubing to desired length and swage together.

• 1/8 in. SS tubing can be bent by hand to desired shape but use caution not to kink the tube.
