1.3.9 RAID IDE Disk Drive Connectors (NT72-SA only)
Guide
Quick Setup
Only connect IDE hard drives to the RAID IDE connectors.
Only two drives can be configured as RAID. Since both of these drives
must be in Master mode, striping or mirroring must be done between 2
RAID IDE channels; not between 2 drives that are chained on the same
channel.
16
PCI slot 2 and RAID IDE use the same IRQ. If you are using add-in cards
such as PCI audio card or SCSI card, please do not install it into PCI slot 2.
By default, the Promise RAID controller is enabled. If you are not using the
onboard RAID, set JP74 to Disabled (2-3 On).
The RAID LED connector (J54) is used to connect a LED cable connector.
The LED will light when the hard drive is being accessed.

These LEDs will turn red when the system’s power is on or when it is in
the Suspend state (Power On Suspend or Suspend to RAM). It will not

20
PCI Standby Power LED
This LED will turn red when the system is in the power-on, Soft-Off or
Suspend (Power On Suspend or Suspend to RAM) state.
Important:
Lighted LEDs serve as a reminder that you must power-off the
system then turn off the power supply’s switch or unplug the power
cord prior to installing any memor y modules or add-in cards.
We recommend that you use a power supply that complies with the
ATX12V Power Supply Design Guide Version 1.1. An ATX12V power
supply has a standard 20-pin ATX main power connector, a 4-pin +12V
power connector and a 6-pin auxiliary power connector that must be
inser ted onto ATXP2, ATXP1 and ATXP3 connector s respectively.
The 4-pin +12V power connector enables the deliver y of more +12VDC
current to the processor’s Voltage Regulator Module (VRM).
The 6-pin auxiliary power connector provides additional current for the
board’s +3.3VDC and +5VDC. Using a power supply that does not have
this connector will still provide power as long as the 20-pin ATX main
power and 4-pin +12V power are connected.
The system board requires a minimum of 250 Watt power supply to
operate. Your system configuration (amount of memory, add-in cards,
peripherals, etc.) may exceed the minimum power requirement. To ensure
that adequate power is provided, use a 300 Watt (or greater) power
supply.

Verwenden Sie in allen Steckplätzen denselben RIMM-Typ.
