that cannot be controlled with the switch

Disconnect the plug from the power

and/or the battery pack from

power tool before making any

measures
reduce the risk of starting the
power
tool accidentally.

Use the power tool, accessories and

bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions
taking into account the
working
conditions and the work to
be
performed. Use of the power tool for
operations
different from those intended

result in a hazardous situation.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
a)
Recharge only with the charger specified
by
the manufacturer.
b)
Use power tools only with specifically
designated
battery packs.
c)
When battery pack is not in use, keep it
away
from other metal objects like paper
clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small
metal objects that can make a
connection
from one terminal to another.
Shorting
the battery terminals together may
cause
burns or a fire.
d)
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected
from the battery, avoid contact.
If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with
wate
r. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek
medical help. Liquid ejected from the
batte
ry may cause irritation or burns.
Important Safety Instructions for All
Battery Chargers
WARNING: Shock hazard. Do not allow
any
liquid to get inside charger. Electric
shock
may result.
CAUTION: Burn hazard. To reduce
the
risk of injury, charge only DEWALT
rechargeable
batteries. Other types of
batteries
may burst causing personal
inju
ry and damage.
CAUTION: Under certain conditions,
with
the charger plugged in to the
power
supply, the exposed charging
contacts
inside the charger can be
shorted
by foreign material.
• DO NOT attempt to charge the battery pack
with
any chargers other than the ones in
this
manual. The charger and battery pack are
specifically
designed to work together.
• These chargers are not intended for
any
uses other than charging DEWALT
rechargeable
batteries. Any other uses
may
result in risk of fire, electric shock or
electrocution
.
• Do not expose charger to rain or snow.
• Pull by plug rather than cord when
disconnecting
charger.
• Do not use an extension cord unless it
is
absolutely necessary.
• Do not place any object on top of charger
or
place the charger on a soft surface that
might
block the ventilation slots and result
in
excessive internal heat.
• Do not operate charger with damaged cord
or
plug
• Do not operate charger if it has received
a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise
damaged
in any way.
• Do not disassemble charger; take it to an
authorized
service center when service or
repair
is required.
• Disconnect the charger from the outlet
before
attempting any cleaning. This will
reduce
the risk of electric shock. Removing
the
battery pack will not reduce this risk.
• NEVER attempt to connect 2 chargers together.
Charging Procedure
1. Plug the charger (j) into an appropriate outlet
befo
re inserting battery pack.
2. Insert the battery pack (h) into the charger.
The
red (charging) light will blink continuously
indicating
that the charging process has started.
3. The completion of charge will be indicated by
the
red light remaining ON continuously. The
pack
is fully charged and may be used at this
time
or left in the charger.

Automatic refresh
The automatic refresh mode will equalise or balance
the
individual cells in the battery pack at its peak
capacit
y. Battery packs should be refreshed weekly
or
whenever the pack no longer delivers the same
amount
of work.
To refresh your battery pack, place the battery in the
charger
as usual. Leave the battery pack for at least
8 hours in the charger.
Hot/Cold Pack Delay
When the charger detects a battery that is too hot
or
too cold, it automatically starts a Hot/Cold Pack
Dela
y, suspending charging until the battery has
reached an appropriate temperature. The charger

• Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it

severely damaged or is completely worn
out.
The battery pack can explode in a fire.
• A small leakage of liquid from the battery
pack
cells may occur under extreme usage
or
temperature conditions . This does not
indicate
a failure.
However, if the outer seal is broken:
a.
and the battery liquid gets on your skin,
immediately
wash with soap and water for
several
minutes.
b. and the battery liquid gets into your eyes,
flush
them with clean water for a minimum
of
10 minutes and seek immediate medical
attention.
(Medical note: The liquid is
25-35%
solution of potassium hydroxide.)

A protective battery cap is supplied to cover the
contacts
of a detached battery pack. Without the
protective cap in place, loose metal objects could
short
circuit the contacts, causing a fire hazard and
damaging
the battery pack.
1. Take off the protective battery cap before
placing
the battery pack in the charger
or
tool (Fig. 3A).
2. Place the protective cap over the contacts
immediately
after removing the battery pack
from the charger or tool (Fig. 3B).
WARNING: Make sure the protective

ry cap is in place before storing or

These
heavy-duty impact wrenches/drivers are

for professional impact screwdriving
applications.

impact function makes this tool particularly

TO
INSTALL BATTERY PACK INTO THE TOOL
1. Align the base of the tool with the notch inside
the
tool’s handle (Fig. 2).
TO
REMOVE BATTERY PACK FROM THE TOOL
1. Press the battery release buttons (i) and firmly
pull
the battery pack out of the tool handle.
OPERATION
Variable Speed Trigger Switch
(fi g. 1)
To turn the tool on, squeeze the trigger switch (a).
To turn the tool off, release the trigger switch.
Your tool is equipped with a brake. The chuck will
stop
as soon as the trigger switch is fully released.
NOTE:
Continuous use in variable speed range is
not
recommended. It may damage the switch and
should
be avoided.
Forward/Reverse Control Button
(fi g. 1)
To select forward rotation,
switch
and depress the forward/reverse control
button
on the right side of the tool.
To select reverse, depress the forward/reverse
cont
rol button on the left side of the tool.
The
center position of the control button locks the
tool
in the OFF position. When changing the position
of
the control button, be sure the trigger is released.
Worklight (fi g. 1)
There is a worklight (g) located just above the trigger
switch
(a). The worklight will be activated when the
trigger
switch is squeezed.

Place
the switch in the locked off (center) position or
remove battery pack before changing accessories.
To install an accessory, pull the chuck collar (c)
away
from the front of the tool, insert the accessory
and
release the collar. The accessory is locked in
place

necessary to aid installation of socket.

CHARGER
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Shock hazard. Disconnect

charger from the AC outlet before
cleaning. Dirt and grease may be
removed
from the exterior of the charger
using
a cloth or soft non-metallic brush.

Rechargeable Battery Pack
This long life battery pack must be recharged when
it
fails to produce sufficient power on jobs which
were easily done before. At the end of its technical
life,

충전 절차

자동 충전
자동 충전모드는 각각의 전지가 최대 충전이 되도록 똑같이 균형을 맞춰줍니다. 배터리 팩은 매주 혹은 전과 같이
작업을 수행하지 못할 때에 충전해야 합니다.
배터리 팩을 충전하려면, 보통 배터리를 충전기에 꼽습니다. 배터리 팩을 최소한 8시간 동안 충전하십시오.
냉/온 팩 지연
너무 뜨겁거나 너무 차가운 배터리를 충전기에 넣었을 때, ‘냉/온 팩 지연’이 자동으로 작동하여 배터리가 적당한
온도가 될 때까지 충전하지 않습니다.
모든 배터리 팩을 위한 중요 안전수칙
• 디월트 충전기로만 본 배터리 팩을 충전하십시오.
• 물이나 기타 액체가 튀거나 들어가지 않도록 하십시오.
• 전동공구와 배터리팩을 40˚ C (105° F) 가 넘는 곳에 보관하거나 사용하지 마십시오.

전동공구에서 배터리 팩을 분리할 때
1. 배터리 배출 버튼(i)를 눌러 전동공구 손잡이에서 배터리 팩을 확실히 밀어줍니다
작동
가변 속도 방아쇠 스위치(그림. 1)
전동공구를 켜려면, 방아쇠 스위치(a)를 누릅니다. 전동공구를 끄려면 방아쇠 스위치를 놓습니다.
본 전동공구에는 브레이크가 장착되어 있습니다. 방아쇠 스위치를 완전히 놓자마자 척이 멈출 것입니다.
주: 가변 속도 범위에서 계속 사용하지 마십시오. 스위치가 손상될 수 있으니 이를 피하시기 바랍니다.
작업등 (그림. 1)
방아쇠 스위치(a) 위에는 작업등(e)이 있습니다. 방아쇠 스위치를 누를 때 작업등이 켜집니다.
전진/후진 제어 버튼(그림. 1)
전진 회전을 선택하려면, 전동공구의 오른쪽에 있는 전진/후진 제어 버튼을 눌러줍니다.
후진을 선택하려면, 전동공구의 왼쪽에 있는 전진/후진 제어 버튼을 눌러줍니다.
제어 버튼이 중앙에 있으면, 전동공구가 꺼진 상태가 됩니다. 제어 버튼의 위치를 바꿀 때에는 방아쇠를 확실히
놓으십시오.

부속품을 교환하기 전에 스위치를 잠금(중앙)위치에 놓고 배터리 팩을 제거하십시오.
엔빌에 소켓을 설치할 때, 엔빌(f)의 멈춤핀(e)에 소켓의 옆쪽 구멍을 맞춥니다. 멈춤핀이 구멍에 맞을 때까지
소켓을 눌러줍니다. 소켓을 설치하려면 멈춤핀을 누를 필요가 있을 수 있습니다.
주의: 임팩트 소켓에만 사용하십시오. 비-임팩트 소켓은 파손될 수 있으며, 위험한 상태를 야기할 수 있습니다.
사용하기 전에 소켓을 살펴보십시오.

작동을 하기 위해서는 올바른 관리와 정기적으로 세척을 하십시오.
충전기 세척 방법
경고: 감전 위험. 세척하기 전에 충전기를 AC 단자에서 뽑으십시오. 헝겊이나 부드러운 비금속 소재의 브러시로
충전기 외부의 때나 기름을 제거할 수 있습니다. 물이나 세척제를 사용하지 마십시오.
