SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Do not: Attempt to use the heater in high rise ats, basements, bathrooms or bedrooms. Do not: Use any other gas except Butane or Propane. Do not: Attempt to clean the heater until it is turned o and fully cooled. Do not: Use naked ame to detect suspected gas leaks. Do not: Allow children or pets to play near the heater. Do not: Twist the exible gas hose. Do not: Open the heater door while it is operating. Do not: Touch the glass panel or front and sides of the unit while the heater is operating.
Allow the unit to cool down for one hour before touching the front or sides.
Warning:
Never attempt to light the unit if the hose is loose or damaged in any way. Also never attempt to light the unit if you have reason to believe that the unit may be leaking gas. In the event of a gas leak turn o the gas supply at the cylinder and have the unit fully checked by a competent person in accordance with the instructions enclosed. We recommend servicing after every 1000 hours of use.Should you need to change the gas bottle, conrm that the gas supply is turned o at the cylinder and that there are no sources of ignition near before proceeding.
Do: Place heater on a at, level and solid surface at all times. Do: Leak test the unit after long periods of storage. Do: Wait for 3 minutes before relighting, if the burner ame becomes extinguished during use. Do: Ensure that all naked ames are extinguished before tting a new cylinder. Do: Store gas cylinders outdoor, above ground level in a safe and secure environment. Do: Make sure that the gas supply at the gas cylinder is turned o after use. Do: Ensure that servicing of the unit is carried out by a competent person in accordance with the instructions enclosed.
Always: Follow any safety instructions supplied with gas cylinders. Always: Keep unit well away from glass doors and windows to ensure no possibility of heat build up and damage. Always: Ensure that there is no blockage of airow. For example sooting and poor burning can be caused by dirt,
inserts, cobwebs, blocking the airow to/in the burner.
Cleaning: Abrasive cleaners are not to be used. Clean unit with a damp cloth when fully cooled.
This unit is designed for use with an 11.34kg cylinder (Eire) and 7-15kg cylinder (U.K)
Open the heater door by loosening the thumb screw. Remove the box containing synthetic coals from the heater. Carefully remove the synthetic coals from the box.
Place the synthetic coals into the heater grate as shown. To t battery unscrew ignition button and place battery in housing. Ret ignition button securely.
Fit the back panel of the heater by positioning the tabs on the bottom of the door into the inside of the rim at the bottom of the heater. Then push the panel ush with the back of the heater and turn the door catch to the up position to secure the panel. Test all gas connections for leaks with proprietary leak detection uid or soapy water applied with a small paintbrush.
