Static Control Systems Analyzer
Resistance R1 through R6, forms a series-connected closed loop. If this series resistance is greater than 0.8 megohms and less than 10 megohms or 100 megohms, depending on range switch position, a "safe" condition will be indicated.
It is recommended that the analyzer ground and the operator wrist cord ground not be a common connection. By utilizing separate grounding points, the integrity of the ground connections is also being checked during analyzer operation.

By pushing the button on the EN425, an operator can check the wrist band, skin contact of wrist band, coil cord, "CONDUCTIVE" table top, "CONDUCTIVE" floor mat, heel straps, or any series combination of these items to a maximum of 10 Meg. Ohms or 100 Meg. Ohms. *
By definition, the term "CONDUCTIVE" used in the following procedure, means equal to or less than 105 Ohms per square.

1. To check "CONDUCTIVE" Table Mat: A. Place hand flat on mat while pressing Push-
To-Test button with other hand. (Operator NOT wearing wrist cord) - safe should be indicated.
2. To check "CONDUCTIVE" Floor Mat: A. Use procedure for testing table mat - OR B. Have operator, wearing "CONDUCTIVE"
heel strap stand on floor mat and press Push-To-Test button. (Operator NOT wearing, wrist cord) - safe should be indicated.

3.Automatic Low Battery Indicator When Test button is pushed, red and yellow LED's on at the same time indicate the battery voltage is less than 7 volts and should be immediately replaced for proper operation.
NOTE: If "CONDUCTIVE" table mat cord is connected to the "CONDUCTIVE" floor mat (Shown as "OR" condition above), use procedure 2B - safe should be indicated.

NOTE: Unauthorized servicing or modifications to your monitor will void the product warranty and may create dangerous conditions. Servicing should be performed only at the factory, or by a Semtronics approved technician.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Semtronics expressly warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, Semtronics 62150(EN425) will be free of defects in material (parts) and workmanship (labor). Within the warranty period, a unit will be tested, repaired, or replaced at our option, free of charge. Call Customer Service at 909-627-8178 (Chino, CA) or 781-821-8370 (Canton, MA) for Return Material Authorization (RMA) and proper shipping instructions and address. Include a copy of your original packing slip, invoice, or other proof of date of purchase. Any unit under warranty should be shipped prepaid to the Semtronics factory. Warranty replacements will take approximately two weeks. If your unit is out of warranty, Semtronics will quote repair charges necessary to bring your unit up to factory standards. Call Customer Service at 909-627­8178 for proper shipping instructions and address. Ship your unit freight prepaid.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER PRODUCT WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. The express warranty will not apply to defects or damage due to accidents, neglect, misuse, alterations, operator error, or failure to properly maintain, clean or repair products.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
In no event will Semtronics or any seller be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or the inability to use the product. Before using, users shall determine the suitability of the product for their intended use, and users assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.
