WARNINGS USED ON THE EQUIPMENT
The lightning flash with the arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated 'dangerous voltage' within this product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
1. INPUT: This is for the connection with the output of your instrument.
2. GAIN: This controls the level of distortion in the Boost channel.
3. SHAPE: This adjusts the curve of the frequencies that will be emphasized in the harmonic distortion of the Boost
channel. Rotated completely counter-clockwise, the mid frequencies are emphasised while the highs and lows are attenuated, creating a “closed” sound for rhythm guitar playing. Rotated completely clockwise, this attenuates the mid frequencies and increases the low and high frequencies, creating a sound typical of hard-rock guitar.
4. PRESENCE: Boosts the level of low-mid frequencies in the instrument signal.
5. LEVEL (Boost Channel): This sets the level of the signal sent from the Boost channel to the output amplification.
6. CHANNEL SELECTOR: This selector switches between the Normal and Boost channels.
7. LEVEL (Normal Channel): This sets the level of the signal sent from the Normal channel to the output amplification.
8. TREBLE: This controls the high frequencies of the Normal channel.
9. MIDDLE: This active control allows you to increase or decrease the middle frequencies of the Normal channel.
10. BASS: This controls the low frequencies of the Normal channel.
11. REVERB: This controls the amount of reverb applied to the overall signal.
12. CHANNEL FOOTSWITCH: This is for the connection of a 1-way footswitch (not included) with a 1/4”± Mono Jack
connector. Such a footswitch will allow you to switch between the Normal and Boost Channels.
13. PHONES: This is for the output to any headphone with at least 8 Ohms impedance. When this is used, the internal loud speaker is deactivated. The signal is sent to both sides of stereo headphones.
14. POWER: Turns the Amplifier on and off.
REAR PANEL FEATURES
15. MAINS CONNECTOR: This is for the connection to the included power cable. The Mains fuse is contained in the
compartment incorporated into this connector.
16. EXTERNAL SPEAKER: This output is for the connection to an external speaker with a minimum impedance of 4 Ohms.
17. LINE OUT: This is a 1V RMS (LINE Level) output for sending the Master signal to a mixer, recorder, power amplifier etc.
18. REVERB FOOTSWITCH: This is for the connection of a 1-way footswitch (not included) with a 1/4”Mono Jack connector. Such a footswitch will allow you to insert or remove the Reverb from the signal.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying this product.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
