Installation
Thank you very much for your purchase of this product, the most natural Colour Television Receiver.
To enjoy your set to the full from the very beginning, read this manual carefully and keep it handy for ready
reference.
INSTALLATION
Locate the receiver in the room where direct light does not strike the screen.
Total darkness or a reflection on the picture screen can cause eyestrain. Soft and indirect lighting is
recommended for comfortable viewing.
Allow enough space between the receiver and the wall to permit ventilation.
Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or premature component
failure.
This TV operates on a DC supply provided by the AC-DC adaptor. The voltage is as Indicated on the label
on the back cover.Only use the AC-DC adaptor supplied with the TV and never apply an AC mains to the TV
directly. The AC-DC adaptor operates on and AC mains supply, the voltage is as indicated on the label of
the AC-DC adaptor. Connect the DC plug of the AC-DC adaptor to the DC 12V socket at the back of the TV.
Connect the AC-DC adaptor and its mains cord. Insert the mains plug in the wall socket having a mains
voltage of 110-240V.
Do not install the receiver in a location near heat sources such as radiator, air ducts, direct sunlight ,or
in a place somewhere like close compartment and close area.
Do not cover the ventilation openings when using the set.
CAUTION
Never tamper with any components inside your set, or any other adjustment controls not mentioned in
this manual. The LCD panel used in this product is made of glass. Therefore,it can break When the product
is dropped or applied with impact. Be careful not to be injured by broken glass pieces in case the LCD panel
breaks.When you clean up dust or stick of a water drop on the LCD panel. The power cord should be pulled
out from the plug receptacle, then wipe the receiver with dried soft cloth .During thunder and lighting ,
unplug the power cord and antenna cord to prevent your TV set from damage. All television receivers are
high voltage instruments. All "inside work" on your receiver should be performed only by the TV service
personnel.
If some abnormal phenomena happens , may be you have some mis-opertion,please take off power and
restart your TV set .

To turn the TV power ON
Put the TV set on the correct place, then connect the DC plug of the AC-DC adaptor to the DC 12V socket
at the back of the TV set. Connect the adaptor main cord to the wall outlet ,then the LED indicator lamp
turns red/green and the TV set is at Standby/work Mode. At Standby Mode, if Standby Button is pressed
the power indicator will change to green. It takes a few seconds before the picture appears.
To turn the TV power OFF
Press the Standby Button to make the TV set in Standby Mode, then disconnect the power plug from the
wall outlet.
NOTE:
If TV is the selected input without signal received and NO operation is performed for about 5 minutes
continuously, the TV set will enter standby mode. For any inputs other than TV, the TV set will not enter
standby mode automatically without users instruction. If you are not going to use this TV set for a long
time, switch off the set and disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet.

1.Do not attach any seal or label to either side (the labeled side or the recorded side) of a disc.
2.Do not use irregularly shaped CDs (e.g., Heartshaped or octagonal)since they may result in
malfunctions.
3.Some playback operations of DVDs and Video CDs may be intentionally programmed by
software manufacturers. This unit plays DVDS and Video CDs according to disc content
designed by the software manufacturer, therefore some playback features may not be
available or other functions
may be added.

Connecting External Equipment
Connecting a DVD Player or other device (E.G. VCR/Digital cable Box/Satellite Receiver) with
Component Video Connectors .
Use a component video cable to connect the DVD player's YPbPr jacks to the TV's YPbPr jacks.
Use an audio cable to connect the DVD player's AUDIO OUT jacks to the TV's AUIDOIN jacks . Be sure
to use the same row of input that you used for the video connection.
Note: The YPbPr jacks on your DVD player are sometimes labeled YCbCr, or Y, B-Y and R-Y. if so,
connect the cables to like colors.

Insert Batteries into the Remote Control
Insert two size AAA batteries by matching the and on the batteries to the diagram inside the battery
compartment.
Precaution on battery use
Improper use of batteries can result in a leakage of chemicals and/or explosion. Be sure to follow the
instructions below.
Place batteries with their terminals corresponding to the (+) and (-) indications.
Different types of batteries have different characteristics .Do not mix batteries of different types.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the life of new batteries
and/or cause old batteries to leak chemicals.
Remove batteries as soon as they are non-operable. Chemicals that leak from batteries can cause a
rash .If chemical leakage is found, wipe with the product may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage
conditions.
If the remote control is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the remote
control.
Using the Remote Control
Use the remote control by control by pointing it towards the remote sensor window of the set. Objects
between the remote control and sensor window may prevent proper operation.

do not place in an area with high humidity.
Do not install or place the remote control under direct sunlight. The heat may cause deformation of the

sunlight or strong lighting. In such a case, change the angle of the lighting or TV set, or operate the remote

Before you begin watching television, you must first change the input source to DTV or ATV and allow the
television to perform auto tuning.
1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote control.
2. Press the PROG+/PROG- and OK to select the DTV or ATV.
3. Press the MENU button on the remote control.
4. Press the VOL+/VOL- to select the TV Setting menu.
5. Press the PROG- to select [auto tuning]item and VOL+ to confirm
and continue.

You can select analog and digital channels in several ways.
Method 1 Using PROG+/PROG- on the remote Control or P+/P-

Note:When you choose AUTO to view a 4:3 program, two black bars appear on the left and right of the screen.

1.Clock If you view digital channel , the clock icon is displays the current day/time determined by the selected

2.Sleep Time Press VOL+/- to set the television to automatically turn off after 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,
100,110 or 120 minutes. To cancel the timer, select Off.

Auto Tuning
You may need to run Automatically scan if this is the first time using TV.
1.Select Auto Tuning press “VOL+” or “Enter key”, a dialog box will pop up.
2.Select country according where are you, using “VOL-”or “VOL+”, press “PROG-”,select “Start”, andpress “Enter” to start auto scan.
3.Tuning completed (include man-made terminal), a message box showed as bellow. It show the tuning
result. All programs will present on channel list menu. To access channel list menu, press “list” key.
DTV Manual Tuning
Press ENTER or VOL+ buttons to enter DTV manual tuning menu. If current source DTV Manual
Tuning is ATV, it will automatically switch to DTV source.
1.Use VOL+/- to select a channel number.
2.Press ENTER to start searching program.
Note: One channel may contain several digital programs or radio programs.
ATV Manual Tuning
Press ENTER or VOL+ buttons to enter ATV manual tuning menu. If current source is DTV, it will
automatically switch to ATV source.
1.Storage To The channel number which your want to save.
6.Fine Tune Increase or decrease current frequency step by step, till TV signal is the best.
7.SAVE Press red button on the remote control to save the result.

Programme Edit
Press OK or VOL+ buttons to enter Programme Edit menu , All ATV programs and DTV programs will
listed in the Programme Edit menu.

Delete Press red button to delete the program ,This operation will lost all information of the program.
If you want to view the program, you must to manual tuning the program again.
Rename Press green button to change the program name
Move Press yellow button to change the program position in the channel list
Skip Press blue button to skip the program. It will disappear in the channel list, unit you press blue button
again to cancel the Skip option.It's name will become yellow in channel list.
FAV Press FAV button to add the program to the favorite channel list. If you want to cancel the program of
the favorite channel list , please to press FAV button again and the icon will disappear.
2.DTV programs Options

Troubleshooting Tips
Before calling for service, you can check the following items on symptoms and solutions.
No picture:
Check other channel, maybe station problem.
Adjust the tuning control.
Ensure that the input setting is at TV state.
Ensure that the LCD is on.
Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.
No sound and distorted sound:
Ensure that the input settings for the TV and sound are proper.
Adjust the tuning control.
Probably local interference, such as an appliance.
Re-orient aerial(if indoor type).
Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.
No remote Control:
Check the battery are installed with the correct polarity.
Point the remote control unit at the remote control sensor and operate.
Remove the obstacles between the remote control and the remote control sensor.
Operate the remote control unit at a distance of not more than 8 meters from the remote control sensor.
NO SIGNAL displayed
Check if the wire is connected correctly.
Ensure the computer or other equipments are at power on mode.
Ensure the TV input setting is at pc mode.
INVALID FORMAT displayed
Check if the input setting is compatible to the monitor specification.
Led lamp indicator on but no picture
Check the monitor setting :contrast ,brightness.
Check if the wire is connected correctly.
Some unusual spots on screen:
Some dot defects may appear on the screen, like red, green or blue, Spots, However, this will have no
impact or effect on the monitor performance.
Lost password:
On the password screen , enter the following master password: 4886
You may use the master password to set a new password as desired .
