SOLID BOWL FEEDER
INSTRUCTION SHEET
All hardware required for installation is included with unit per individual order. No brackets or other hardware
necessary.
NOTE: ALL WORK SHOULD BE DONE IN A NEAT WORKMANSH IP MANNER AND ADHERE TO ALL
APPLICABLE PLUMBING CODES.
I. Mounting Position:
A. T op Mount ing
1. Cut a hole at least 7/8” in diameter in the top of the machine.
2. Set Bowl on top of machine with male threads going through hole and rubber washer provided. Washer
should b e on outside of ma chine.
3. Secur e Bowl with hex nut provided.
B. Wall Mounting
1. D rill holes a ppr oximately 1” deep in wall, t o match mount ing holes in Bowl. If wall is t ile or masonr y, use
1/4” masonry bit.
2. M ou nt Bowl t o wa ll u s ing mount ing s cr ews and anchors p r ovided. Bowl s hould b e mount ed below eye level if
possib le.
C. Machine Mounting
1. D rill holes through side of machine to match mount ing holes in Bowl.
2. Mount Bowl using screws a nd washers provided.
3. Secure Bowl with hex nut and lock washer assemblies.
II. Units with Bulkhead Fittings:
A. If machine does not have a hole in the wa sh tank or ba ck, you will need a 7/8 ” Greenly knockout.
B. Insert threa ds of Fit ting through hole with rubb er washer on outs ide of machine. Secure with hex nut. Fit ting
should be located on machine such that detergent enters machine in the wash tank, and be as close to the
concentration prob e as pos sible.
C. Att ach discha r ge tu be t o Bowl a nd Fit ting. S ecur e wit h tie wr a ps pr ovided. T he discha r ge tub e should not ha ve
any loops or low p oints.
III.Connection to Water Supply:
Water temperature should be kept between 120 and 140 deg. F if possible.
WATER TEMPERATURE SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 160 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.
A. Insert one end of stainless steel tube into fitting at top of spray arm on Bowl.
B. S lip compr ession nut inc luded over tu be. Screw onto fitting a s tightly as p ossible.
C. Remove compression nut from elbow fitting on vacu um breaker a nd slip over other end of st ainless steel tube.
Pla ce elbow fitt ing over end of tube and tighten compression nut as much as possible.
D. R emove compress ion nut fr om s tr a ight fit t ing on va cuu m br eaker and sl ip over end of wat er su pp ly tu bing. Ins ert
tub ing into fitting and t ighten compression nut as much as possible.

PERMISSION. RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER REQUIRED IN
ADVANCE OF RETURN.
WARRANTY: DEMA products are warranted against defective material and workmanship under normal use and service for
one year from the date of manufacture. This limited warranty does not apply to any products which have a
normal life shorter than one year or failure and damage caused by chemicals, corrosion, improper voltage
supply, physical abuse, or misapplication. Rubber and synthetic rubber parts such as “o”- rings, dia phr agms,
squeeze t ubing a n d g ask ets a r e con sid er ed exp en dable an d a r e not cover ed un d er war r an t y. Th is war r an t y is
extended only to the original buyer of DEMA products. If products are altered or repaired without prior
approval of DEMA, this warranty will be void.
Defective units or parts should be returned to the factory with transportation prepaid. If inspection shows
them to be defective, t hey will be rep aired or repl aced with out char ge, F. O.B. factor y. DEMA assu mes no
liability for damages. Return merchandise authorization number, to return units for repair or replacement,
must be granted in advance of return.
