INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. PARTS
A. Foamer Assembly
B. Hose to ½" NPT Coupling
C. Plastic tubing with foot strainer and ½” ID ceramic weight
D. Spray nozzles with adjustable joints
(2 with 294CV-2, 4 with 294CV-4)
2. INSTALLATION
A. Connect water compressed air and spray nozzles as shown in
figures 1 and use ½" or larger pipe or tubing in spray
manifold.
B. Power. Connect solenoid coil leads to power source. Coils
are 120 volt/60hz unless otherwise specified. (Refer to coil
housing.)
C. Detergent nay be drawn directly from any size container,
which usually is set on the floor. Use the plastic tubing for
connecting to the injector barb. First, cut to desired length
then slip the cera mic weight over the tube and drop the end
with the strainer int o the container.

3. OPERATION
Open shutoff valve at end of hose. Turn on air supply; set pressure
at 40 PSI. Turn on water supply.
4. ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Use caution when handling hazardous chemicals. The r ecessed screw in the metering knob controls the
detergent feed rate. Turning the screw in (clockwise) will decrease the detergent feed rate; backing the screw out
(counterclockwise) will increase the rate to the maximums shown in Table 1. To increase dryness of foam, raise air
pressure 5 PSI. Repeat if necessary. See Table 2 for water and air flows.
5. SERVICING
CAUTION: Turn off a ir, water, and elec tricity before servici ng.
If flow surges and unit fails to make foam:
A. Is the metering scr ew backed off ?
B. Is there electrical power to both solenoids?
C. Is there sufficient water and air pressure? At least 30 PSI is required.
D. Does the detergent contai n a foaming agent?
E. Is the foamer outlet attached to a manifold with too few or too small nozzles? They should have a combined water
rating of 20 GPM @ 40 PS I.
If unit stops operating:
A. Is the foot strainer clogged? Lift from drum and clean.
B. Is the detergent check val ve clogged? Remove the 4 metering knob screws and inspect ball spring and O-Ring.
CAUTION: When servicing unit be sure that replacement parts have been installed according to drawing. Be
certain check valve parts are in place.

WARRANTY: DEMA products ar e warranted against defective mat erial and workmanship under normal use and
service for one year from the date of manufacture. This limited warranty does not apply to any
products which have a nor mal life shorter than one year or failure and damage caused by chemicals,
corrosion, improper voltage supply, physical abuse, or misappl ication. Rubber and synthetic rubber
parts such as “o”- rings, diaphragms, squeeze tubing and gaskets are cons idered expendable and are
not covered under warranty. This warranty is extended only to the original buyer of DEMA

void.
Defective units or parts should be returned to the factory with transportation prepaid. If inspection shows them
to be defect ive, th ey will be repa ired or r epla ced wit hout ch arg e, F.O. B. fa ctor y. DEMA assu mes n o liabil ity
for damages. Return merchandise author ization number, to return units for repair or replacement, must be
granted in advance of return.
