1. PARTS
A. Bottle holder, hose rack and injector assembly.
B. Spray gun.
C. 25 ft. of 1/2" I.D. outlet hose.
D. 4 mounting screws in envelope.
2. INSTALLATION
Mount holder on wall using the 4 screws provided through the holes in the rear of the holder. The injector inlet is fitted with an ad apte r f or
3/4" garden hos e which may be removed for direct ins tallation on 1/2 " pipe. The injec tor inlet posi tion may be reverse d if so desired.
Remove the body mounting screws to reverse its direction, keeping the plastic tubing to the front. Water temperature should not exceed
150oF and pressure should not exceed 125 PSI.
Connect spray gun to injector outlet with high pressure garden hose provided. Extra hose may be used, but do not exce ed 50 f t. of 1/ 2" I. D.
hose. (Dema part #44-3 is 25 ft. of 1/2" hose).
The bottle holder will hold any size container up to one gallon. Drop the plastic tubing with foot strainer into the container as it is being
placed in the holder.
3. OPERATION
With water turned on and spray gun long lever squeezed to the full-open position, the detergent or sanitizer is drawn into the w ate r st ream .
When the lever is released to rest on the latch, no detergent will be drawn into the water stream, thus providing a clear rinse. To shut off,
pull short latch and release. If spray is too hard, throttle water valve in line ahead of injector. When spray clean is not is use, shut off the
inlet valve and open the gun to relieve the high pressure in the hose.

4. ADJUSTMENT - WARNING: USE CARE WHEN HANDLING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS.
Turn the small recessed screw on the injector inlet knob to adjust the injection rate. See figure 2. If the body position has been reversed,
the metering knob may be loosened and rotated so the side with the metering screw faces downward. Four turns count ercl oc kwi se prov ide
the maximum. Table 1 shows the maximum proportions in ounces per gallon of water obtainable for various fluid viscosities. Table 2
shows the injection rates using metering tips at various chemical visocities.

5. SERVICING
CAUTION: TURN OF F WATER SUPPLY BEFORE SERVICING.
A. If unit fails to operate.
1. Check Figure 1 for proper lever position. Use only Dema Spray gun, part no. #40-8 B or 40 -10.
2. Is the hose to long? 50 ft of 1/2" ID hose is maximum.
3. Is the injector insta lled with the arrow on the side in the direction of water flow?
4. Is the adjustment screw backed off?
5. Is the hose kinked or otherwise obstructed?
B. If unit stops operating.
1. Check item 5 above.
2. Is the foot strainer clogged? Lift tube from bottle and clea n.
3. Is the check valve clogged? Remove 4 knob screws to disassemble. Inspect and clean ball, spring and o-ring.
CAUTION: WHEN SERVICING UNIT BE SURE THAT REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
ACCORDING TO DRAWING. BE CERTAIN TO CHECK VALVE PARTS ARE IN PL ACE.

Defective units or parts should be returned to the factory with transportation prepaid. If inspection shows them to be
defective, they wil l be repaired or replaced without charge, F.O.B. f actory . DEMA assumes no liability for damages.
