To allow two chemical products to be injected either separately or together.
Because the dual metering knob (P/N 481-2) is made of PVC it can no t e xcee d
100 p si and as a res ult the B2V2 injector is usually mounted prior
pump. Chemical products should, therefore, be mild enough not to damage
any internal pump parts.
2.PARTS:
A. Injector
B. (2) Ceramic Weight.
C. (2) Plastic tubing 8' long with foot strainer.
3.INSTALLATION:
The injector may be installed in a horizontal or vertical position in the water
line with the arrow in the direction of flow. The solenoid valves, however, must always remain in a horizontal position. They c an ne ver
be mounted in such a way that one coil is lower than the injector (fighting gravity).

to the
Drop the ends of the plastic tubing with their strainers into their fluid product containers. Cut the tubing to convenient length and slip
the open end over the injector fitting. Connect electricity to the solenoid coils, making certain that the supply voltage corre spo nd s to t hat
printed on the nameplate stamping.
4.OPERATION:
Warning: Use care when handling hazardous chemicals.
Caution: Do not exceed 100 psi pressure or 160 F water temperature.
See Fig. 1 for location of water bypass screw and fine metering adjustment screws. Turn on water supply valve. Turning the current
"on" opens the valves to fluid product. The injector may draw momentarily as the system is filling but normally will stop as the sy stem
builds up to full pressur e. To actuate injector, turn the bypass screw clockwise until product begins to be drawn from the container.
After the f luid reaches the injector, the f eed rate may be adjusted to the desired rate by turning the by pas s s cre w. Th e ma xi m um i nj ect io n
rates are shown in Table 2. For low injection rates, it is advisable to set the bypass screw for more injection than required; then turn the
fine metering screw clockwise to reduce injection to the desired rate.
Table 1 shows the operation range of the injector. If the injector will not draw with the bypass screw full in, then the w ate r f lo w is be lo w
the range of the injector. If the injector draws with the screw full out but pressure loss is excessive, then flow is above the range of the
injector. Table 3 shows the injection rates for models 203 B2V2, 204 B2V2, and 206 B2V2 using metering tips at various viscosities.
Table 4 shows the appropriate pipe size used for each injector.
All induction rates are based on a water inlet pressure of 40 psi/2.75 bars.

5.SERVICING:
CAUTION: Turn off water supply and electricity before servicing.
The check valve parts are in the metering knob and can be cleaned by removing the four screws. The knob may be rotated if it is
more convenient to have the adjusting screws on another side of the injector. As with any injector, if spray jets become clogged or
downstream restriction increases in any manner, the injector will stop drawing fluid. If it is inconvenient to remove the restriction
immediately , the injector may be put back into operation by turning the water bypass screw further clock wi se; t his ad ju st s t he in je cto r
to the lower f low rate. The bypass screw should be reset once the restriction is removed.
CAUTION: When servicing, make sure that replacement parts have been installed according to drawing. Be certain
