INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. PARTS
A. Proportioner Assembly B. Supply tubing with foot valve & ceramic weight. C. Outlet tubing (3' Lg.) D. Metering tip kit E. Vacuum Breaker (163CB-2 only)
2. INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT
Screw proportioner onto garden hose outlet or faucet. For 163CB-2, screw vacuum breaker to faucet and the proportioner to the vacuum breaker. Select a metering tip using Table 1 or 2 as a guide and screw into inlet barb. Attach the 3 foot length of tubing to the proportioner outlet. This tubing must remain attached or proportioner will not draw. Slide ceramic weight over tubing to keep foot valve submerged in chemical and drop foot valve and tubing into chemical container. Attach open end of tubing with foot valve to proportioner inlet barb. (Tubing may be cut to any convenient length. Soften end in hot water for easy attachment).
3. OPERATION
WARNING: USE CARE WHEN HANDLING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS
Turn on water. Chemical siphoning will begin as soon as the outlet tubing fills with water.
