IMPORTANT WARNINGS
- After removing the packaging, make sure the appliance
is complete and undamaged. If in doubt, do not use the
appliance and only contact qualified personnel.
- The plastic bag in which the appliance is packaged
should be kept out of the reach of children, as it is a
potential source of danger.
- If the plug fitting to the appliance does not match the
power outlet, have the outlet replaced with one that is suitable by qualified personnel. It is not recommended to
use adapters, multiple jacks, and/or extension cords. If
such accessories are required, only use single or multiple
adapters and extension cords that conform to the safety
standards in force.
- Models with an earth must be connected to an efficient
earth installation as specified in current electrical safety
regulations.
- In the event of break down, contact an authorized service centre only.
- The appliance must be used exclusively for the purpose
for which it was expressly conceived. All other use is considered incorrect and thus dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
damage caused by inappropriate, improper or irresponsible use and/or for repairs made to the product by
unqualified personnel.
- Make sure the hands, hair, clothing and kitchen utensils
are clear of the container before starting the appliance.
The blades may cut: handle them with care.
Special attention must be paid to the following fundamental safety standards:
- Never touch the appliance with damp or wet hands.
- Never use the appliance with bare or wet feet.
- Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cable.
- Protect the appliance from atmospheric agents (rain, frost,
sun, etc).
- Never allow the appliance to be used by children or unfit
persons without surveillance.
- Never allow children to play with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in
use.
- Never leave the appliance on for longer than necessary
as it represents a potential source of danger.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- If the cable is damaged, have it replaced immediately by
a qualified electrician.
- Before cleaning or maintenance, unplug the appliance
from the mains socket.
- If the appliance breaks down or malfunctions, turn it off.
- If it requires repair, contact a qualified service centre
only and ask for only original spare parts and accesso-
ries to be used.
- In the event of damage to the power cable or the appliance itself, immediately unplug the appliance from the
power outlet .
- To prevent the risk of danger, damaged power cables
must only be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised agent.
Do not try under any circumstances to open and/or
repair the appliance alone.
Contact our service centre or an authorised agent.
- If the appliance is to be disposed of definitively, after
unplugging from the mains socket, you are recommended
to remove the power cable.
- The appliance is fitted with a safety device preventing it
from being turned on unless the bowl and cover are correctly positioned and hooked into place.
The universal cutter (D1) and double cutter (D2 – models
KR750 and 1000 only) are extremely sharp. Always
handle from the grip side. To store the cutters outside the
appliance, use the special guards (D3). Remove the guard
before using the cutters.
- Avoid all contact with moving parts.
- Open the bowl and/or blender only when the motor is
stationary.
- To push the food to be processed through the hole in the
cover, use the feeders provided only. Never use the fingers
or other objects!
- Use the appliance to process food in quantities for normal
domestic use only.
- Never exceed the times and quantities indicated in the
instructions.
NEVER use hot food!
- Keep these instructions carefully for future consultation.
The materials and objects that come into contact with foodstuffs comply with the provisions of the EEC directive
