IMPORTANT WARNINGS
- After removing the packaging, make sure the appliance is complete and undamaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and only contact qualified personnel.
- The plastic bag in which the appliance is packaged should be kept out of the reach of children, as it is a potential source of danger.
- If the plug fitting to the appliance does not match the power outlet, have the outlet replaced with one that is sui­table by qualified personnel. It is not recommended to use adapters, multiple jacks, and/or extension cords. If such accessories are required, only use single or multiple adapters and extension cords that conform to the safety standards in force.
- Models with an earth must be connected to an efficient earth installation as specified in current electrical safety regulations.
- In the event of break down, contact an authorized servi­ce centre only.
- The appliance must be used exclusively for the purpose for which it was expressly conceived. All other use is con­sidered incorrect and thus dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by inappropriate, improper or irrespon­sible use and/or for repairs made to the product by unqualified personnel.
- Make sure the hands, hair, clothing and kitchen utensils are clear of the container before starting the appliance.
The blades may cut: handle them with care.
Special attention must be paid to the following fundamen­tal safety standards:
- Never touch the appliance with damp or wet hands.
- Never use the appliance with bare or wet feet.
- Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cable.
- Protect the appliance from atmospheric agents (rain, frost, sun, etc).
- Never allow the appliance to be used by children or unfit persons without surveillance.
- Never allow children to play with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use.
- Never leave the appliance on for longer than necessary as it represents a potential source of danger.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- If the cable is damaged, have it replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
- Before cleaning or maintenance, unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
- If the appliance breaks down or malfunctions, turn it off.
- If it requires repair, contact a qualified service centre only and ask for only original spare parts and accesso-
ries to be used.
- In the event of damage to the power cable or the applian­ce itself, immediately unplug the appliance from the power outlet .
- To prevent the risk of danger, damaged power cables must only be replaced by the manufacturer or an autho­rised agent. Do not try under any circumstances to open and/or repair the appliance alone. Contact our service centre or an authorised agent.
- If the appliance is to be disposed of definitively, after unplugging from the mains socket, you are recommended to remove the power cable.
- The appliance is fitted with a safety device preventing it from being turned on unless the bowl and cover are cor­rectly positioned and hooked into place. The universal cutter (D1) and double cutter (D2 – models KR750 and 1000 only) are extremely sharp. Always handle from the grip side. To store the cutters outside the appliance, use the special guards (D3). Remove the guard before using the cutters.
- Avoid all contact with moving parts.
- Open the bowl and/or blender only when the motor is stationary.
- To push the food to be processed through the hole in the cover, use the feeders provided only. Never use the fingers or other objects!
- Use the appliance to process food in quantities for normal domestic use only.
- Never exceed the times and quantities indicated in the instructions. NEVER use hot food!
- Keep these instructions carefully for future consultation.
The materials and objects that come into contact with food­stuffs comply with the provisions of the EEC directive 89/109.

BEFORE USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash all accessories including the bowl "B3", the blender "C3", the cover and feeder in hot water and washing up liquid.
•Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.
• Important! The universal cutter, double cutter (model KR750/1000 only), slicer and shredder blades are very sharp. Handle with care.
During the first few minutes of use, there may be a slight smell. This disappears rapidly and does not represent a health hazard.
IMPORTANT: MODELS KR750 AND 1000
To use the bowl "B3", the safety cover "A1" must always be closed. To open the safety cover
"A1", press the cover release button "A2" (Fig.
1).
To use the blender, the bowl and cover "B2"
must be correctly positioned.
• Before using the blender, remove all accessories from the bowl "B3".
• Never use the blender "C3" and the bowl "B3" at the same time.
•Avoid damaging the cover safety device "C1" and the bowl cover closure device "B2".
CONTROLS
Tur ning on: turn the ON/OFF + speed regulator
knob "A5" to one of the positions available as required. The speed can also be varied during ope­ration.
Tur ning off: turn the ON/OFF knob + speed regu­lator "A5" to the "O" position.
Pulse operation: press button "A6". The appliance operates until the button is released.
USING THE BOWL "B"
• Place the appliance on a dry flat surface. DO NOT PLUG THE APPLIANCE INTO THE MAINS UNTIL ALL ACCESSORIES HAVE BEEN CORRECTLY FITTED.
•Turn the appliance off before changing accessories. Avoid contact with moving parts while the appliance
