This USB Y-cable by D e lock made fo r addition al power supply of USB devices. Just plug the red connector and the black connector into 2 free USB ports of your syst em a nd the device to the USB female jack of the ada pt e r. T h us y ou r dev ic e wi l l be supplied by 2 power sources. The red connector indicates the extra power source and will be provided parallel to the black data/power interface.
