A. Product Description:
The DS4WS wireless Bluetooth Siren security kit is specifically design to work with Directed’s DS4 and DS4+ product
line up. The product enables a seamless wireless data transmission between the DS4 or DS4+ Digital remote starter without the need of running physical wires between the engine compartment and the passenger cabin.
B. MOUNTING THE DS4WS
The DS4WS should be installed in the engine compartment where it should not obstruct with any moving
parts.
Select a location where you can install the mounting bracket to a metal using a self-tapping screw. Install the power and ground wires then follow the DS4WS pairing procedure.
C. PAIRING DS4WS TO A DS4/DS4+ SYSTEM
In order for the DS4WS and DS4/DS4+ system to start communicating, the installer must PAIR the DS4WS to the DS4/DS4+. PAIRING procedure must be completed successfully to enable both system to recognize each other and authenticate the communication.
Pairing DS4WS to DS4/DS4+ system.
1. Make sure that DS4/DS4+ system has been fully configured and flashed prior to step2.
2. Put the DS4/DS4+ system in pairing mode by; a. Press and release, press and hold the antenna programming button until the LED start to flash. b. Release the programming button
3. Put the DS4WS into paring mode by; a. Press and release, press and hold the programming button until button’s LED starts to flash. b. Release the programming button.
4. The DS4WS wireless siren will sound to confirm successful pairing.
5. Pair the remote by following the normal remote pairing procedure from DS4/DS4+ installation guide.
D. USING DS4WS
DS4WS will sound the siren according to the command received and according to how the sound was configured (siren mode or voice mode).

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help.
To satisfy FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the device and its antenna must maintain a separation distance of 20 cm or more from the person’s body, except for the hand and wrists, to satisfy RF exposure compliance. WARNING! : Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Directed Inc. could void user's authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS-247 standards. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
