REAL TIME LIVE MULTISCREEN DISPLAY

The EcoSense displays images with realtime updates in live mode.

REMOTE VIEWER

Integrated into the configuration web pages is a remote viewing
client that duplicates identically the local on-screen user interface
of the unit.

Removing the need to install any separate software this remote
viewer can be used on any compatible browser.

TRANSCODING

High quality recording and simultaneous video transmission using
MPEG4 or JPEG for remote Live viewing AND Playback.

The EcoSense has a unique TransCoding engine which can convert
evidential quality recorded JPEG images into an MPEG4 data
stream on playback. This is especially useful when playing back
recordings over a bandwidth limited network connection.

E-MAIL NOTIFICATION

Emails can be sent on alarm or other critical events.
Notifies the following events on a camera by camera basis:

• Alarm

• Activity

• Camera fail

• Power up

Access to mail server via Ethernet is required for this feature.

EVENT COPYING

Event sequences and user defined recorded sequences can be
saved to a CD or DVD via the integrated DVD-writer or to
external flash memory or hard drive through the USB port.
No DVD-writer on 4 Channel unit

ALARMS AND RELAYS

• 5 normally open/closed alarm inputs (4 Channel models)

• 17 Normally open/closed alarm inputs (8/16 Channel models)

• One global keyswitch can be assigned to operate from any of
these inputs and is congurable with entry/exit route timers.

• There are 2 relay outputs congurable to trigger in response
to events. (1 relay ouput on 4 Channel model)

ACTIVITY DETECTION

Each activity detection will switch the selected camera from
normal record profile to alarm record profile. This feature can
also; log the event, activate a relay, switch camera, email on
activity and remote alarm reporting.

Help Videos

Dedicated Micros new entry-level DVR, provides low cost multi channel recording with simultaneous playback and viewing. The
EcoSense can be accessed and controlled from the state of the art touch sensitive front panel or via a mouse or keyboard, giving
the user full access to all the DVRs features including Telemetry control, Alarm and Event Management and Activity Detection.

TOUCH SENSITIVE CONTROL PANEL

With a state of the art touch sensitive panel, the EcoSense provides
instant access to all its control options via its unique front panel
interface.

SIMULTANEOUS LIVE VIEWING & RECORDING
The EcoSense offers simultaneous live viewing & recording on all
models to allow live monitoring without impacting recorded video.

RECORD RATE

True global record rates of up to 200pps (PAL), 240pps (NTSC) at
CIF. Assuming all camera channels are populated:

• CIF available at 12pps (PAL), 15pps (NTSC) per camera

• 2CIF available at 6pps (PAL), 7pps (NTSC) per camera

• D1/4CIF available at 3pps (PAL), 4pps (NTSC) per camera

HELP VIDEOS

The EcoSense includes on board help videos for assistance on
both User and Configuration features. Accessible from both the
local and remote viewer the help videos cover all major operation
and configuration topics include: Basic Live and Playback control,
telemetry control, alarm configuration, event reviewing and
archiving.

COLOUR CODED MENUS

The EcoSense includes a unique colour-coded, soft key menu
structure and onscreen GUI. Context sensitive, the menu structure
always represents the area of the menu that the user is in, allowing
them to quickly select the options and settings they need without
having to trawl through menu pages and configuration options. The
colour coded buttons displayed on the monitor match those on
the IR Remote, whilst control can also be conducted through an
attached USB Mouse or USB Keyboard.

SEAMLESS NetVu CONNECTED INTEGRATION

NetVu Connected technology enables the EcoSense to fully
interoperate with other NetVu Connected products including the DV­IP Decoder, Pick-a-Point, DV-IP Server, NetVu Console, HighVu Excel
and NetVu ObserVer to provide the user with a single unified viewing
solution. As a NetVu Connected product, the EcoSense can be
seamlessly integrated into our award winning Emergency Messaging
and Mass Notification System.
