3.1 Front View
If the “error light” is ashing, some of the following conditions may exist:
1. The paper chamber is empty
2. The drawer is not properly closed
3. The temperature of the thermal head is more than the limit temperature for printing
3.2 Procedure to Replace Paper Roll
1. Push the “EJECT” button and the drawer will pop out. (Fig. 1)
2. Firmly pull the drawer out and open the lid. (Fig. 2a). Take away a core of paper
3. Place the paper roll the “box”. (Fig. 2b).Make sure a small amount of paper extends out acting as a lead.
4. Push the drawer back slightly and close the lid until it locks into position. (Fig 3)
5. Push the drawer back into the main housing until it locks with a “click”. (Fig. 4)

4.Function This is a four byte command which sets up the bit image graphics mode. The two bytes (n1.n2) are the ASCII presentation of the number of dot lines to be printed in the graphic mode. The size of the printing dot is 0.125 mm by 0.130 mm. The number of transmission data bytes is specied by (n1). (n2). (Total data bytes)=(80 bytes) x (n1) (n2)

3.Hexadecimal Data <1B><4B><n1><n2>
4.Function This is a four bytes command which sets up the bit image graphic mode. The two bytes (n1.n2) are the ASCII presentation of the number of dot lines to be printed in the graphic. The size of the printing dot is enlarged to 0.375 mm by 0.390 mm. The number of transmission data bytes is specied by (n1).(n2). (Total data bytes)=(31 bytes) x (n1) (n2)

7.5.1 LF
1.Line Feed Command

3.Function If characters are stored in the printer line-buffer when command LF is received, they are printed and carriage returns. If not, the paper is fed one line and carriage returns.
7.5.2 FF

3.Function When command FF is received, characters stored in the printer line-buffer are printed; the paper is fed approximate 30 mm and carriage returns.
7.5.3 SO

3.Function When command SO is received, the mode is set in 20 characters/line. The character data following this code are printed as enlarged characters until command DC2 is re­ceived. If SO is received in enlarged mode, this command is ignored.

3.Function When command SI is received, the mode is set in 80 characters/line. The character data following this code are printed as condensed characters until command DC4 is received. If SO is received in enlarged mode, this command is ignored.

3.Function When the printer buffer is stored less than quarter after sending command DC3, the printer send command DC1 to the host. This command DC1 cancels the mode of com­mand DC3.

3.Function When command DC2 is received, the printer cancels the enlarged mode. The character data following this code are printed as normal characters (40 characters/line)
7.5.7 DC3

3.Function When the printer buffer is stored more than three quarters, the printer sends com­mand DC3 to the host. After the host receives command DC3, the host may not send data to the printer.
7.5.8 DC4

3.Function When command DC2 is received, the printer cancels the condensed mode. ACSII data following this code are printed as normal characters (40 characters/line)
7.6 Identity of Printer

7.7 Non-Dened Code
If non-dened code is received, it is ignored.
7.8 Printing start
When the printer completes the receiving of a line data, it starts printing. When the printer cannot complete the receiving, and if the data is not transmitted for 5 seconds, it starts printing.
7.9 Limit Temperature for Printing
When the temperature of the thermal head is more than approximate 74 C°, the prin­ter stops printing and blinks the ERROR-LED. When the temperature of the thermal head falls less than approximate 71 C°, the printer resumes printing.
