Setup:
To set up the iMM-6 for use, plug it into the headset jack of a supported device. If desired, rotate the iMM-6 so that the Line-Out jack props the entire device up and elevates the microphone capsule off the work surface – this is the “Kickstand” feature. Verify that the iMM-6 is functioning by attempting to record sound using the host device.
Calibration:
To deliver the most accurate results, a calibration file should be loaded into the software program being used for audio analysis. This calibration file is generated based on the serial number of our iMM-6. To obtain your calibration file in text format (compatible with most audio analysis apps), visit DaytonAudio.com and navigate to the iMM-6 product page. Enter the serial number of your iMM-6, then click on “Download.”
