To set up the iMM-6 for use, plug it into the
headset jack of a supported device. If desired,
rotate the iMM-6 so that the Line-Out jack
props the entire device up and elevates the
microphone capsule off the work surface –
this is the “Kickstand” feature. Verify that the
iMM-6 is functioning by attempting to record
sound using the host device.
Calibration:
To deliver the most accurate results,
a calibration file should be loaded into the
software program being used for audio
analysis. This calibration file is generated
based on the serial number of our iMM-6.
To obtain your calibration file in text format
(compatible with most audio analysis apps),
visit DaytonAudio.com and navigate to the
iMM-6 product page. Enter the serial number
of your iMM-6, then click on “Download.”
