Pre-Install Procedure

1. Remove roof panels
a. Disengage locks and remove each panel

Installation

2. Locate desired position of radio mount on upper

dash panel

a. Recommend positioning at the center, above

the rear view mirror, between the driver and
passenger visors

3. Firmly press mount against upper dash panel and

mark location of holes

4. Remove upper dash panel

5. Bore out holes with an adequate drill and bit
a. Verify supplied screws fit and securely hold

mount to upper dash panel

6. Install radio into corresponding hole on radio mount
a. Insert radio and fasten using supplied

hardware

7. Install rocker switches into corresponding holes on

radio mount

a. Slide each switch in until they lock into place

8. Assemble antenna mount bracket

9. Install antenna mount bracket onto driver side

window frame

10. Install radio antenna

11. Run antenna cable along door jam and behind dash

panels

12. Install radio electrical wiring
a. Run positive from positive battery terminal
b. Ground negative to the body of the vehicle

13. Reinstall upper dash panel
a. Leave cables hanging out behind upper dash

panel

14. Connect cables and wiring to corresponding

connectors behind radio

15. Install radio mount
a. Tuck cables behind radio mount
b. Align radio mount and upper dash panel holes,

and fasten using supplied screws

16. Locate desired position of microphone mount
a. In this case, the driver side visor was used

17. Firmly press mount against surface and bore out

holes with a drill and bit

a. Be sure not to drill all the way through the

visor, if that is the desired position of the
microphone mount

b. Verify supplied screws fit and securely hold

mount to surface

18. Insert microphone onto holder

19. Install complete

Post Installation

20. Check all fasteners to ensure they are tightened to

proper specifications.

21. Ensure all wires, hoses, cables, etc. are properly

connected and there is ample slack.
