Sensor Transmitters
Sensor Transmitters allow you to place Davis sensors anywhere within range of
your wireless receiver (Vantage Pro2 console, Vantage Connect, or WeatherLink
Live). The sensor transmitter communicates directly with your wireless receiver
over any one of eight user-selectable ID codes. Each Sensor Transmitter can
support up to five different Davis sensors, including: Anemometer (6410), Solar
Radiation (6450), UV (6490), Temperature (6475 or 6477), Temperature/
Humidity (6834, 6830, 6832), or stand alone Rain Collector (6463 or 6465). Both
the Solar-Powered Sensor Transmitter and AC-Powered Sensor Transmitter have backup battery.
