1. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing a PoolSweepa FloorCova Pool Cleaner. We are sure that your PoolSweepa FloorCova Robotic Pool Cleaner will provide you with reliable,

convenient and cost effective pool cleaning. Its reliable ﬁltration in all pool conditions and all-surface climbing brush enhance maximum pool hygiene.

3. WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS

3.1. Warnings

• Use the originally supplied power supply only

• Ensure the electrical outlet is protected by a ground fault interrupter (GFI) or an earth

leakage interrupter (ELI)

• Keep the power supply out of standing water

• Position the power supply at least 3m away from the edge of the pool

• Do not enter the pool while the pool cleaner is working

• Unplug the power supply before servicing

3.2. Cautions

When not in use store the Pool Cleaner upsidedown in a shaded area. Use the Pool Cleaner in the following water conditions only:

Chlorine Max 4 ppm

pH 7.0 - 7.8

Temperature 6 – 34°C

5. USING THE POOL CLEANER

5.1. Set Up

5.2. Putting the Pool Cleaner into the pool

Shake the Pool Cleaner from side to side or turn it upside down to release trapped air.

Let it sink to the pool ﬂoor.

If the Pool Cleaner is equiped with Wonder (foam) brushes, soak them in water until soft.

Position the power supply so that it is approximately in the middle of the long side of the pool at a distance of 3m.

Attach the ﬂoating cable to the power supply by inserting it with the notch on the connector (1) lined up with the groove in the socket on the power supply and turning clockwise (2).

5.3. Removing the Pool Cleaner from the pool

The Pool Cleaner will perform automatic shut-off at the end of the cleaning cycle.

Turn OFF and unplug the power supply.

Using the ﬂoating cable, bring the Pool Cleaner to the pool’s edge. To ensure longevity of your Pool Cleaner, it is recommended that the Pool Cleaner is removed from the pool when not in use, especially at times when superchlorination is performed.

DO NOT PULL THE POOL CLEANER FROM THE POOL USING THE CABLE.

Clean the ﬁlter bag with a hose. Periodically clean the brushes with a hose. It is recommended to periodically wash the ﬁlter bag in a washing machine. Use gentle cycle program.

5.4. Maintenance

If you notice debris trapped in the impeller open the impeller and remove the debris.

To remove the kinks, stretch the cable out completely and let it sit for at least a day in the sun.

If the pool cleaner will not be in use for an extended period, perform the following storage steps:

• Make sure that no water is left in the pool cleaner.

• Thoroughly clean the ﬁlter bag and insert in place.

• Roll up the cable so that it has no kinks.

• Store the pool cleaner upsidedown in a protected area.

In the unlikely event in Australia or New Zealand that this Davey product develops any malfunction within two years of the date of original purchase due to faulty materials or manufacture, Davey will at our option repair or replace it for you free of charge, subject to the conditions below.

On receipt of your claim, Davey will seek to

resolve your difculties or, if the product is faulty or defective, advise you on how to have your Davey

product repaired, obtain a replacement or a refund.

Your Davey Two Year Guarantee naturally does not cover normal wear or tear, replacement of product consumables (i.e. mechanical seals, bearings or capacitors), loss or damage resulting from misuse or negligent handling, improper use for which the product was not designed or advertised, failure to properly follow the provided installation and operating instructions, failure to carry out maintenance, corrosive or abrasive water or other liquid, lightning or high voltage spikes, or unauthorized persons attempting repairs. Where applicable, your Davey product must only be connected to the voltage shown on the nameplate.

Your Davey Two Year Guarantee does not cover freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase; you MUST provide evidence of the date of original purchase when claiming under the Davey Two Year Guarantee.

Davey shall not be liable for any loss of prots or any consequential, indirect or special loss, damage

or injury of any kind whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from Davey products. This limitation does not apply to any liability of Davey for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee applicable to your Davey product under the Australian or New Zealand legislation and does not affect any rights or remedies that may be available to you under the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Legislation.

In Australia, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
