Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DAC-6. This is stand alone DV to Analog converter, and it can also be
used as an accessory for the SE-500. In order to bring out the maximum performance of this software,
we recommend that you spend some time reading this manual carefully.
Product Overview
The DAC-6 is especially designed for converting DV25 video signal to Analog video signal. With the
compact size and solid housing design, DC12V input, it is convenient for portable and outdoor use. With
the DAC 6, you can plug in a DV25 video source, and get Composite, Y/C, and Component video
signals out, all three are available simultaneously.
For example, you could connect a DV camcorder or similar device via a IEEE1394 DV25 cable to the
DAC-6 and connect the other end to a Betacam VTR or Y/C input video switcher, such as Datavideo
SE-500.
