Alpha & Omega Semiconductor designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge
discrete and analog power management IC solutions. We offer a comprehensive portfolio
of Power MOSFET, Power IC, and Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) products that meet
the complex power requirements of today’s advanced electronic systems and consumer
electronics.
Technology
We specialize in designing innovative analog semiconductors for applications requiring
a smaller product size with maximum efficiency and overall performance. Our proprietary process, technology and packaging expertise allows us to design products with a
greater price-to-performance ratio than that of our competitors.
AOS strives to achieve technology breakthroughs ahead of the market. We were the
first semiconductor company to build power devices using submicron 200mm which
enables our products to achieve higher levels of quality and performance.
Manufacturing
At AOS, we develop and execute streamlined processes for cost-effective, high-volume
manufacturing. Our dense Trench MOSFET process technology provides leading-edge, low
on-resistance per unit silicon area.
Also, by installing proprietary wafer processing and packaging technologies at partner
foundries, our technical experts can monitor the manufacturing of advanced power products
to guarantee top quality and high performance at low costs.

AOS pioneered the fab lite model in the Trench Power MOSFET eld, developing leading-edge products that are
exclusively manufactured in state-of-the-art 8-inch fabs. Advanced proprietary silicon and packaging processes are
designed in AOS’ U.S. headquarters, and are then produced with its very efcient manufacturing model.
Technologies including the popular SRFET™, that incorporates a monolithically integrated Schottky diode, provide
signicant efciency and current-density benets in power conversion applications.
