DESCRIPTION
The NX4120 is an integrated 2A monolithic step-down
switching regulator with internal compensation. It operates from 2.7V to 4.2V which is ideal for the application
with single cell Li-Ion battery as well as other 3.3V input
bus supply applications.
NX4120 is a current mode PWM controller with 0.8V
internal reference voltage. It can be selected to operate
in synchronous mode for continuous fixed PWM or nonsynchronous mode to improve the efficiency at light load.
In this mode during extreme light load, a pulse-skip
scheme is employed to further improve the efficiency at
and extend the battery life.
NX4120 is packaged in 10-lead MLPD package with excellent thermal capability as well as small footprint area.
