LINUX SET-TOP BOXES
WITH 4K AND HEVC SUPPORT
MAG524 and MAG524w3 are Linux-based
4K set-top boxes. Compared to the previous
MAG STB generation, these devices feature
an Amlogic S905X2 chipset with a 25% faster
ARM Cortex-A53 processor, and a better
GPU. HEVC technology allows providers
to deliver high-res content through their
existing network. The devices are equipped
with 2 USB ports and a built-in Wi-Fi module*
2.4 and 5 GHz.
Our MAG JS API allows easy
earlier MAG set-top boxes to new ones.
Upon request, we can integrate the MAG524
and MAG524w3 with different CAS/DRM and
middleware solutions. Operators, distributors,
and developers can rely on Infomir’s tech
support.
