Rosin
A flux with activators added to facilitate soldering; it is
almost as active as soldering paste.
Used as a base for the flux calibration (25%
solution in isopropyl alcohol).
Application:
very good flux when soldering tin-lead alloy
used to rub the hair of string instruments in order to
increase roughness and thereby increase its adhesion to the
strings
as a binder in printing inks, which simultaneously
improves its properties
