Congratulations! You’ve just purchased an accessory
that will allow your rugged Datamax-O’Neil printer to
go the extra mile. Proper use of this case will allow our
OC Series printer to be used in harsh, dusty, or rainy
environments.
This case is certified to be an IP54 rating, so when
properly used, it will protect your product against
particles as small as dust, and water from any
direction.
Installation Instructions
1. Remove the case from any protective wrapping and
packaging.
2. Unzip and detach all velcro and/or hook and loop
fasteners.
3. Install the printer, as shown in Figure 1. Be sure
that the printer’s edges are completely covered by
the case.
4. Zip the printer flap to secure the printer in place
(Figure 2).

5. Close the top cover, then secure all covers with the
hook and loop fasteners provided.
6. The power jack and communication ports are
located under the velcro flap. To access the ports,
turn the case over. A female swivel clip is also
located under the velcro flap.
Options
• The printer can be worn in the IP54 case with a
swivel belt clip or swivel belt loop (Figure 3).

NOTE: When the printer is in transport or not in use, it
is necessary to fully secure the paper flaps to allow
maximum protection of the printer.

IP54 Cases
• The top cover flap can also be tucked under itself to
ease removal of media while maintaining additional
protection to the printer (Figure 6). (NOTE: This
configuration does not offer full IP54 protection.)

Warranty
The Company warrants that Datamax-O’Neil products are free from
defects in manufacturing materials and workmanshi p f or one (1) year
from date of original purchase to Buyer/Distributor (OEMs 90 days
from the date of purchase). Batteries, cables, power supplies, and
other accessories will be warranted for ninety (90) days. DatamaxO’Neil makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including
implied warranties of merchantability and fitness of purpose.
If you try to repair, disassemble, or change the product in any way, or
use parts not provided by Datamax-O’Neil without prior, written
authorization, all warranties are void. For complete warranty and
service information, see the Warranty Card included in your printer's
original packaging.
No Liability for Negligent Use
In no event shall Datamax-O’Neil be held liable for any damages
whatsoever (including, without limitatio ns, damages for loss of prof its,
business interruption, loss of information, or other pecuniary loss)
arising out of negligence in use and care of the product.
