Warnings/Safety Guidelines
• This charger cannot be used for any other types of
batteries.
• Keep the charger in a cool, dr y place, away from direct
sunlight, high temperature, and moisture.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the charger.
• Do not operate the charger if it appears damaged.
• Do not disassemble, incinerate, or short circuit
batteries, charger, or related components.
• Do not operate the charger when your hands or body
are wet.
• Do not operate the charger near water.
• To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the charger
before cleaning.
• The battery and the charger become warm during
charging. If either becomes too hot to touch, discontinue
charging and contact your Datamax-O’Neil
representative.
• Use of any charger not approved by Datamax-O’Neil for
use with their batteries could cause damage to the
batteries or the printer and will void the warranty.
Overview
The 4t battery charger is designed to charge 4t
Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries. Before using the battery
charger, read all instructions, guidelines, and
warnings.
General Guidelines
• The 4t battery charger takes approximately 6
hours to charge two batteries sequentially. Charge
times may vary.
• Place the 4t battery charger on a dry, flat surface.
• When not in use, charge batteries once ev er y
three months to maintain the life of the Li-ion
battery.

Using the 4t Battery Charger
1. Insert the 4t battery charger into an appropriate
power source.
2. Position the battery above the charger so that
the contacts on the bottom of the battery align
with the contacts on the charger.
3. Place the battery on the charger.
4. The 4t battery charger begins the charge cycle.
The Battery LED turns green when the charge is
complete.

Warranty
The Company warrants that Datamax-O’Neil products are free from defects
in manufacturing materials and workmanship for one (1) year from date of
original purchase to Buyer/Distributor (OEMs 90 days from the date of
purchase). Batteries, cables, power supplies, and other accessories will be
warranted for ninety (90) days. Datamax-O’Neil makes no other warranties,
expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness of purpose.
If you try to repair, disassemble, or change the product in any way, or use
parts not provided by Datamax-O’Neil without prior, written authorization, all
warranties are void.
For complete warranty and service information, see the warranty card
included in your printer's original packaging.
No Liability for Negligent Use
In no event shall Datamax-O’Neil be held liable for any damages whatsoever
(including, without limitations, damages for loss of profits, business
interruption, loss of information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of
negligence in use and care of the product.
