Note
danita 2000 Multi is tested in accordance with Directive 1999/5/EC. In general it is legal to use any of danita models in all of the countries in EU, as long as the danita 2000 Multi is only used according to the rules of the individual country. For example in CH, DK, NO, SE and SK the FM modulation is the only one to be used. (Select 06 in country selector) If you are in doubt, check with your dealer.

If your transceiver does not work properly, first check tha

all controls are set as instructed in the manual. If this does not change the situation, do not attempt to fix the transceive

yourself, but take the unit to your dealer. Please enclose a short description of the fault. To clean the transceiver just use a damp cloth.

The device is not to be discarded through regular waste disposal. Instead please dispose of it in a responsible manner, e.g. at a recycling centre.
Service
How To Use danita 2000 Multi
Ensure the connection of a suitable antenna and make sure power is on. Set the volume control to about medium and turn the squelch control until the noise just disappear. Hold the microphones about 2” from your mouth. Press the microphones transmit button, and speak clearly. Release transmit button, and listen to the other part.
Country Selection
When danita 2000Multi is turned on, the display flash with two digit. 06 may be used in all countries. To change coun­try selection, press UP knob for 3 second, when danita 2000Multi is turned ON. Select with UP/DN knobs. Keep DN knob pressed for 3 second for store new country.
Choose 06 for the following countries: AT, CH, CZ, DE, DK, GB, HU, IS, LT, LU, LV, NO, PT, SE, SI, SK and SR. Choose 05 for these countries: BE, EE, ES, FI, FR, GR, IE and NL. See the manual, danita 2000Multi Country Selection, for more information. Also for DE, GB, IT and PL.

Front View
1. MICROPHONE CONNECTOR Insert the microphone plug here.
2. ON/OFF SWITCH AND VOLUME CONTROL The ON/OFF switch and volume control are combined. Turn the knob clockwise to turn the radio on and to increase the volume.
3. SQUELCH The squelch is used to eliminate unwanted noise. The squelch should be adjusted clockwise to the point where the noise in the loudspeaker just disappears.
4+5. CHANNEL SELECTOR The desired channel is selected by the UP/DN knobs.
6. DISPLAY Show the channel. When turn up, it show the country select digit.
7+8. AM/FM. If country selection has AM/FM modulation, this button “7” is used for choosing modulation. FM LED “8” light up at FM.
9+10 DX/LO. Lower the receiver signal by app. 20dB when “10” light up.
11 TX/RX LED LED light green at receiving and red at transmitting. Switch when press the microphones transmit button.

12. ANTENNA UHF / PL connector. Connect an antenna specially designed for 27 MHz here. The antenna and cable should be of 50 Ohm’s impedance.
13. EXT. An external loudspeaker of 8 Ohm’s impedance can be connected to this
3.5 mm jack. When the plug is connected, the build in speaker is automatically disconnected.
14. 13.8V DC 12-15 Volt DC should be connected to negative (black cable) and positive (red cable).
