VX Solo HWS

Indirect substation for one-family houses, semi-detached and terraced houses as well as apartments.

Wall mounted district heating substation for indirect heating. With connection for domestic hot water cylinder on the secondary side.

Application

The VX Solo HWS is a substation featuring high performance and simple operation. The VX Solo HWS is especially suitable for two-pipe systems for heating and DHW connection on the secondary side.

District heating (DH)

The substation is prefabricated with interconnecting components such as differential pressure control, fitting piece and sensor pockets for insertion of a heat meter, as well as strainer, ball valves and pockets for pressure gauges.

Control

The optional TP9000 controller, which must be placed in a reference room, allows heating and DHW operation according to demand. The integrated room thermostat will open/close a zone valve for heating operation, and

the DHW sensor in the cylinder or the DHW timer will open/close a zone valve for DHW operation.

Heating (HE)

The heating side consists of a stainless steel plate heat exchanger, safety valves, manometer, air valve, expansion vessel and circulation pump. The secondary flow temperature is controlled thermostatically. Depending on substation’s application different heat exchangers dimensioned for central heating can be used.

Domestic hot water (DHW)

The substation is supplied with connection pipes for cylinder on the secondary side. Control valves and DHW cylinder sensor is included.

Construction

All pipes are made of stainless steel. The connections are made by nuts

and gaskets. The VX Solo HWS can be delivered with white-lacquered steel cover.
