Instructions
Gasketed heat exchanger XG
Quick Guide ThermoDual®-GS
Install the heat exchanger, feet/frame and thermal
insulation according to the device assembly instructions
(XGM32).
Observe the necessary distances for service and operation
of the device and the other system components.
Overall dimensions are shown in the data sheet.

Quick Guide ThermoDual®-GS
In this figure, you can see all loose
supplied components and prefabricated
pipe parts with their corresponding
positions in the system.
29
First find a level surface and align the heat
exchanger and the domestic water storage
tank accordingly in their position. Make
sure both units are positioned horizontally
at the same height; this is the only way the
supplied components and tubes fit perfectly.
Connect all parts according to the
drawing, using the respective screwed
connections, and do not forget to insert
the loose enclosed gaskets beforehand.
When assembling, adjust the tank
and heat exchanger again where
necessary to prevent stress.

Quick Guide ThermoDual®-GS
Notice! Do not use pipe wrench pliers;
for one thing, the nuts will be damaged
and there is also the danger of excessive
tightening, which can destroy the gasket.
EPDM gaskets do not require a high torque
to ensure tightness (~ 10 .. max. 35 Nm).
See also chapter 5.1 in the installation and
operating instructions It is best to manually
tighten all screw connections and correct
when filling the system only until the
respective connection no longer leaks.

It is best to tighten all screw connections
only by hand and correct when filling
the system only until the respective
connection no longer leaks. Finally,
mount the heat insulation of the heat
exchanger according to the separate
installation instructions of the device.
