Packing gland identification and replacement - Shut-off valves, STC 15-150 (½-6 in.)
DN 15-40 Switching to packing gland 4a
1.Remove the packing gland and alu gasket from the bonnet (use hook) or steel wire.
2.Replace the packing gland
(see identification details to the right).
3.Assemble according to these torque details:

DN 50-150 Switching to packing gland 4b
1.Remove the packing gland and alu gasket from the bonnet (use hook or steel wire).
2.Replace the packing gland
(see identification details to the right).
3.Assemble according to these torque details:

Adding a teflon bush to packing gland 4a
1.Remove the threaded part and iron bush from the bonnet.
2.Add one piece of flat Teflon bush.
3.Mount the packing gland.
4.Assemble according to these torque details:

Adding a teflon bush to packing gland 4b
1.Remove the threaded part from the bonnet.
2.Add one piece of flat Teflon bush.
3.Mount the packing gland.
4.Assemble according to these torque details:
