Packing gland identication and replacement - Shut-o valves, STC 15-150 (½-6 in.)

1. Remove the packing gland and alu gasket from the bonnet (use hook) or steel wire.

2. Replace the packing gland (see identication details to the right).

3. Assemble according to these torque details:

Nm LB-feet

DN 15-25 40 29.5

DN 32-40 60 45

1. Remove the threaded part and iron bush from the bonnet.

2. Add one piece of at Teon bush.

3. Mount the packing gland.

4. Assemble according to these torque details:

Nm LB-feet

DN 15-25 40 29.5

DN 32-40 60 45

1. Remove the threaded part from the bonnet.

2. Add one piece of at Teon bush.

3. Mount the packing gland.

4. Assemble according to these torque details:
