GTU Pressure Equalizer
Substitute for safety valve to the Termix water heaters
The GTU Pressure Equalizer absorbs the
expansion on the secondary side of the
Termix water heaters and can be used as
a substitute to the safety valve.
Furthermore the pressure equalizer
absorbs a possible increase in pressure,
so a discharge outlet is omitted.
Installation
Note:
The GTU Pressure Equalizer is VAapproved (Danish norm) to be mounted
in Gemina Termix district heating units.
The GTU Pressure Equalizer can be applied to:
Termix One type 1
Termix One type 2
The GTU Pressure Equalizer can be
applied to Termix One, VMTD-F, VMTD,
VMTD-mix and VVX. See table below for
detailed specifications.
Termix VMTD-1 Termix VMTD-1-mix Termix VVX 1-x
Termix VMTD-2 Termix VMTD-2-mix Termix VVX 2-x
The GTU Pressure Equalizer may not be
applied to the Termix One type 3 and in
systems with hot water circulation.
The pressure equalizer is delivered
complete with a check valve.
Max fluid temperature: 95 °C
Max pressure: 10 bar

Note: cannot be used for Termix One type 3 and systems with hot water circulation
