Comfort II GVX and VVX

Floor or wall-mounted cylinder systems for single-family houses for central and district heating

Application

The Comfort II GVX and VVX units are ready-made substations for heating and domestic hot water for indirect systems in single-family house, which are connected to a district heating network.

Configuration

The Comfort II range can be configured according to local requirements and legislation, however as a standard the substations are prefabricated with plate heat exchanger, domestic hot water cylinder, thermostats, ball valves, differential pressure controller, expansion vessel, non-re- turn and safety valves, fitting piece for heat meter, circulation pump, manometers and thermometers, strainers, sensor pockets, pressure relief valve as well as a functional cover in a new design. The Comfort II GVX comes with a complete cover as standard delivery. The cover for the VVX must be ordered separately. The cylinder cover is delivered fully assembled and the bottom part cover is supplied unassembled.

Design

The Comfort II GVX is a ready-made solution, which is prepared for floor-mounting.

The technical part featuring the substation control is placed below the cylinder. The cover consists of a cylinder cover, two side plates as well as a detachable front cover for the technical part. This facilitates heat meter readings and maintenance.

The Comfort II VVX is a wall-mounted solution, which is suitable for mounting in a installation cabinet. The VVX is supplied unassembled, consisting of a separate cylinder as well as a technical part, for mounting on site. The VVX can, if ordered separately, be supplied with cylinder cover and bottom part cover. The Comfort II VVX is especially suitable for implementation with a Danfoss Redan DR II distribution unit.

Domestic hot water cylinder

The Comfort II range is supplied with a 100 or a 150 liter cylinder with Danish VA approval. The highly efficient cylinder is double-enamelled and supplied with a heating coil, which is designed for the use of district heating as heating source for domestic hot water heating. The cylinder is fully insulated with environmentally friendly PU foam, which minimizes the heat loss and ensures the best possible operating economy.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Compact district heating substation with hot water cylinder

Plenty of DHW, 100/150 l cylinder

Equipped with a highly efficient plate heat exchanger

Totally insulated cylinder, min. heat loss

Superior heating capacity

Fine operating economy

Complies with modular measures

Wall-mounted solutions, which are suitable for implementation with DR II distribution units

Domestic hot water circulation

The Comfort II is prepared for DHW circulation. For new systems it is recommended to establish domestic hot water circulation, which ensures that domestic hot water is available immediately when tapping starts.

Service friendly and easy to install

Suitable piping and consistent use of union nuts to connect pipes facilitates the servicing and mounting of the substation.

Reading and initial adjustment

Thermometers are placed in the front part of the substation, easily read. Thermostats for adjustment of the heating and the domestic hot water temperature are placed conveniently to facilitate the adjustment.
