CHORUS CC-1
Features
TheCoolCat Chorus gives youall of the classic chorussounds, andmore- with more control than you’ve had before.
CONTROLS:
DEPTH: Controlsthe intensityof theChorus, from minimum (fullycounter-clockwise) to maximum (fullyclockwise). The Depthcontrolinteractswith the Speedcontrolin thisfashion: slower speed settingscan takehigher depth settings. As Speed increases,Depth mayneedtobe reduced.
Higher settings maycause light-headedness!
SPEED: Controls the speed of the Chorus, from minimum (fullycounter-clockwise) to maximum (fully clockwise). This control will haveno effect unless the Depthcontrolis set higher than minimum (off).
MIX/ EQ: These controls are stacked, the inner control adjusts mixand the outer control adjusts chorus eq.(These controlshave no effect unlessthe pedal is on.) Turning the Eq knob can be tricky, here’s howto do it:turn bothknobs at thesame time until theEq is where you want it, then adjustthe Mixcontrol.
When theMix control is fully counter-clockwise, thereisno chorus effect – it’s100% dry. When theMix control is set to

maximum, all you’ll hear is theeffected signal– 100% wet. By setting this control in-between minimum and maximum you can choosethe perfect drytowetratio. A normal setting wouldbe at 12:00 (50% dry, 50% wet).Lowering the Mix control makes theChorus more subtle;raising the Mix takes the soundtowards vibrato.
TheEq control adjusts to tone of the chorusonly, leaving your drysignal unaffected. Think ofitas a highfrequency roll-off for thewetsignal. If the Chorus soundstoo “sparkle-y”, tryturning down theEq control.
BYPASS: Thetruebypassfootswitch engages and disengages thepedal.

Fora Classic Chorus sound, simplyset allcontrols to 12:00. This maycause complaints from your band,as the Classic Chorus sound has beenusedto extremes.Let’s be a bit more creative:
“Sky BlueSky” (Great for rhythm players, so subtlethe band might let youleave it on allnight…) Depth– 9:30 Speed – 10:30 Mix/ Eq – 9:30/ Min. (7:00)
“Spin-Cycle”
Depth– 9:00, mayneedto be reduced at highest speed setting Speed – 4:30 to Maximum (5:00) Mix/ Eq – 12:00/ Wide open (Bonus: change the Mix setting to maximum andyou get Vibrato, otherwiseknown as the difference between a trombone and a lawnmower.)

TRANSPARENT OVERDRIVE CTO-1
Features

CONTROLS:
GAIN: Sets theamount of overdrive applied tothe signal, counter-clockwise is minimum overdrive, turnclockwise to increaseoverdrive. Asoverdriveincreases, lowfrequencies will“bloom”slightly.
TREBLE / BASS:Adjusts thetone of the overdrive sound. The two controlsare stacked; the inner control is for Treble, the outer for Bass. Thesecontrols cut and boost – theyare flat (noeffect)at 12 o’clock. Tuning theTreble controlcounterclockwisefrom12:00 cuts the treble, advancing the Treble control beyond 12:00boosts the Treble. The Bass control operates in the same fashion. Turning theBassknobcan be tricky, here’s how to do it: turnboth knobs at the same timeuntil the Bass iswhere youwant it, then adjustthe Treble control.Don’t be surprised if youleave thesecontrols setnearly flat.
VOLUME: This control adjusts overall volume when the Transparent Overdrive is turned on. Usually, the Volume control is

There is lotsof volume boost available, so you can get even low gain settingsloudenough.Withhigh gain settings, the Volume control adds another dimension of gain that will generate even more overdrive. Becareful – this pedal goes way beyondeleven!
BYPASS: Thetruebypassfootswitch engages and disengages thepedal. HINT: Don’t forget to try setting your guitar’s volume andtone controls lowerthan their maximum: theTransparent Overdrive won’t “collapse” on you likeother pedals.

METAL CM-1
Features
This Metalpedal is different: it’s almost likehavinganamp at your feet. Back inthe 1960’s, players ran oneamp into another (DANGEROUS!!! - don’t try this yourself without help from a qualified technician)to get over-thetop-distortion. Onefamous guitaristused a factory publicaddress amp in frontof hisguitar ampfor his blistering tones. That’sthe idea ofthe Metalpedal, but BE CAREFUL– this thingis LOUD!
CONTROLS:
GAIN: Adjuststhe amount of distortion. As this control is increased, the pedalgetslouder – MUCH louder. Higher settings will also increase noise - it’s the price youpay for this much fun- so learn the secret:don’t stop playing!
TREBLE / MID:Adjusts thetone ofthe overdrive sound. The two controls are stacked; the inner control is for Treble, the outer for Mid. Like the Basscontrol, these controls cutand boost– they are flat(no effect) at 12 o’clock. Turning theMid knob canbe tricky, here’s howto do it:turn bothknobs at thesame time until theMid is where you want it, then adjustthe Treble control.
VOLUME/ BASS: These are stacked controls, the inner control is Volume andthe outer controlisBass. Turning

Thevolumecontroloperates in thestandard fashion:from minimum (fullycounter-clockwise) to maximum (fully clockwise). The Bass control is a cut and boost control– it isflat (noeffect)at 12 o’clock. Tuning it lower than 12 o’clock cuts the bass, turningit past 12 o’clock boosts it.
