D-5 Instructions
TO BEGIN:
• Install 9-Volt battery (included). If using Danelectro’s “Zero Hum” adapter (Recommended) instead of a battery, connect this to the “9V DC” jack on the back of the D-5.
• Connect an instrument cable from your guitar to the “Input” jack. Connect a second cable from the “Output” jack of the D-5 to the input jack of your amplifier.
CONTROL FUNCTIONS: DEPTH: Adjusts the depth or range of the chorus. Higher
settings will be more extreme, and may require adjustment of the Speed control to compensate. Lower settings will be more subtle.
SPEED: Adjusts the speed of the chorus. This control
interacts with the Depth control—slower Speed settings will allow higher Depth settings. Then again, you may like the sound of both controls maxed out!
MIX: This control allows you to mix in some dry signal with
the chorused signal. At the lowest setting, there will be virtually no chorus effect, at maximum, there will be chorused sound only. Note that the pedal is loudest when the Mix control is set to maximum.
