deriving from improper use also the following ones may be risen:
Risk of ASPHYXIA in case of insufficient suction of fumes (draught). We
recommend cleaning periodically the fume and rebox ducts.
After putting the combustibles into the machine, the doors of the combustion
Risks of BURNS during the lighting of the rebox
and /or the access to the inspection and cleaning doors

reduction of the water temperature in the boiler in case
of overheating.
5.2 Starting
After performing the checks described at point 5.1 it is possible to start the heat generator.
The operations to be performed are the following:
1. Open the rebox door [6]
2. Light the fuel by means of commercial products used to light the wood into the replaces
and close the rebox door.
3. Wait that the fuel lights regularly.
4. Close the rebox door [6]
5.3 Machine in operation
After the starting the heat generator working is regulated by the draught regulator.

6 - CLEANING
6.0 General information
The rebox and the ues must be periodically cleaned from the combustion solid residues
(ashes).
Keeping the ues free from ashes ensure the draught efficacy and then the best efficiency of
the
heat .
6.1 Operation mode and periodicity
Firebox: The check and the cleaning of the amount of combustion residues in the
rebox [3] must be carried out every day by opening the door [6]. The
combustion residues in the low part [4] must be cleaned by opening the door
[5].
Tube nest: The check and the cleaning of the amount of combustion residues in the tube
nest [8] must be carried out about every 4-5 days, by opening the door[7] and
using the proper brush supplied with the machine.
Fume pipe ttings: The check and the cleaning of the amount of combustion residues in the
fume pipe tting [16] must be carried out every 15 days by means of the ash removal little
door [15]. Check and clean the ue periodically.
6.2 Cleaning of the fuel hopper
The fuel hopper is equipped of a hinged lid. The cleaning of the fuel hopper [16] must be
carried out only after stopping the machine, removing the hopper from the ange that
connect it
to the screw.
WARNING!
BEFORE OPENING THE MACHINE MAKE SURE THE FUEL CONTAINED IN THE
FIREBOX IS COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED
7 - MAINTENANCE
7.0 General information
The heat generator must be subjected to regular maintenance. The maintenance must be carried
out by specialised staff.
7.1 Periodical maintenance
At the beginning of every season clean the fan blades (The accumulation of dust and other material
on the fan blades decreases the efficiency and compromises the balancing, causing vibrations and
noises)

8 - NOISE
8.0 General information
The machine acoustic radiation pressure are not signicant.
8.1 Sound emission values
Measurements carried out in room type (thermal station with a surface higher than 6 mq) have
shown Leq,d continuative sound pressure values, and peak values lower than 76 dB(A)
9 – PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE and SCRAPPING
9.0 General information
The machine is totally built in ferrous materials and does not contain any material dangerous
for the environment.
9.1 Scrapping
After the putting out of service the machine is considered “Waste” according to the D.L. 5
February 1997, n°. 22 and it must be given to Companies that have the Regional Authorization
for the waste collection

11 – INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION
11.1 GENERAL PRESCRIPTIONS
11.1.1 REFERENCES
All the persons that makes the electric and hydraulic installation of the heat generator must be
inscribed in the register of the Installer Company according the L. 46/90.
The installer both for the hydraulic and for the electrics connection must release the Certicate
of Conformity according the L. 46/90 and the Regulation of the realization D.P.R. 477/91.
Every person responsible of a plan with output superior than 200.000 Kcal/h (232,5 KW) must
be in possess of the patent.
11.1.2 PLACES
The heat generators with nominal output more than 34,8 KW (30.000 Kcal/h) must be installed
in special places separated from the others by means of REI 120 structures.
The surface of the boiler room must be not inferior than 6 square meters, with at oor and
with permanent openings with surface more than 1/30 of the room plan.
11.2 PEFORMANCE OF THE INSTALLER
11.2.1 I.S.P.E.S.L. NOTIFICATION
The thermal system for boilers with nominal output more than 34,8 KW (30.000 Kcal/h)must
be done according a project decided by qualied persons. The installer has to notify the plan of
the system together with its project to the ISPESL of that area.
11.2.2 PLAN BOOKLET
At the end of the installation and the emission of Declaration of Conformity, the installer shall
release a booklet of the plan according the DPR 412/93.
11.2.3 HYDRIO -THERMAL PLAN
The hydrothermal system must be done with an open expansion vessel.
The installer must follow all the prescriptions of the R Collection of I.S.P.E.S.L.
The hot water circulating device must always run before the heat generator starting or must be
controlled by the thermostat that controls the starting once the water reaches 40°C.
11.2.4 ELECTRIC SYSTEM
The machine has a general switch not automatic.
The power supply line must be protected by a differential device with a operating current not
higher than 30 mA.
All the extraneous conductive parts and the pipes are connected by means of an equipotential
conductor to a collector.
www.recal.cl · bio@recal.cl · (+562) 2430 7700
12
11.2.5 FLUE
During the installation phase we recommend installing the ue at least 1 m higher than the roof
and everything else that is about 10 m near.
11.2.6 NATURAL DRAUGHT
The ue section and height must ensure that there is a depression of at least 10 Pa.(1 mm water
of column) on the fume pipe tting end.
11.2.7 FORCED DRAUGHT
If particular conditions do not allow the generator to be equipped with a ue with the height
and/or section required, it might be necessary to provide the ue with a suction system so that a
depression of at least 10 Pa.(1 mm water of column) on the fume pipe tting end is ensured.
11.2.8 COMBUSTION PRODUCTS
In case of fuel of little size, it is possible that the combustion products (fumes) are full of solid
residues with consequent emission of dusts from the ue.
In this case the ue must be equipped with a centrifugal dust separator.
11 – INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER (Foreign Countries)
The denition of the machine contained into the Directive 98/37/EEC can be applied to the
heat generator for solid fuel.
The Declaration of conformity and the EC mark certify the machine complying with the
Directive and the Harmonized Standard and the consequent free movement in the EU.
The machine can be used only after the installation.
The installation or the system are made up of:
− The distribution system of the heated uid (water supply) complete with all that is
necessary to be carried out in safety (expansion tank open)
− The electric system to connect to the power supply
− The ue for the suction of the fumes produced
At the moment there are no European Harmonized Standard for this type of heat generator.
As a consequence of this the installation and the system are manufactured according to the
installation standard of a particular country.
The installer must manufacture the system and install the generator according to the current
national standard.
The manufacturer of the heat generator is not responsible in case of accidents, breakages
or bad working due to the not observance of the technical laws of the country in which the
equipment is installed.
