System Overview
The Dahua Video Doorbell Network Security System provides all the components to quickly install, congure, and employ a complete video surveillance soluon. The Video Doorbell oers 2 MP video and two-way communicaon, the IP cameras oer the clarity of 4 MP video, and the NVR oers built-in moon detecon algorithms, alarm triggers, and customized recording modes. The Video Doorbell and the network cameras connect easily to the NVR for total system recording. In addion, the Video Doorbell and the NVR are compable with the Dahua DMSS mobile applicaon to view live video, congure and acknowledge alarms, and share video with authorized users.
Funcons
WiFi Video Doorbell
The DHI-DB11 WiFi Video Doorbell oers Passive IR moon detecon and transmits video and audio to a mobile phone for remote visual conrmaon and communicaon with visitors. The DHI-DB11 oers high-resoluon video ideal for surveillance at homes and in small retail or dining establishments.
DMSS Compability
DMSS is a mobile surveillance applicaon that includes alarm push funcons and P2P discovery. The applicaon is available for IOS devices (in the Apple App Store) and for Android devices (in the Google Play Sore). DMSS oers an easy to use interface to quickly add Dahua devices, including network cameras, NVRs, HDCVI DVRs, Video Intercom, and alarms.
Starlight Technology
For challenging low-light applicaons, Dahua’s Starlight low light Technology oers best-in-class light sensivity, capturing details in low light applicaons. The camera uses a set of opcal features to balance light throughout the scene, resulng in clear images in dark environments.
Intelligent Video System
IVS is a built-in video analyc algorithm that delivers intelligent funcons to monitor a scene for Tripwire violaons, where a target crosses a user-dened line, and for intrusion violaons where a target enters or exits a dened perimeter. The camera quickly and accurately responds by triggering an alarm. Working with IVS-enabled IP cameras, the NVR recognizes and records video that contains IVS data on all IP channels.
With IR illuminaon, detailed images can be captured in low light or total darkness. The camera's Smart IR technology adjusts the intensity of camera's infrared LEDs to compensate the distance of an object. Smart IR technology prevents IR LEDs from whitening out images as they come closer to the camera. The camera's integrated infrared illuminaon provides high performance in extreme low-light environments up to 30 m (98 ).
Flexible Recording
The NVR oers a variety of congurable recording opons and schedules that saves disk space and acve monitoring me. The NVR monitors incoming video and can be programmed to record if moon is detected or if an alarm is triggered. The NVR can also be programmed to record on a schedule or at dierent intervals. The recording opons and schedules can be set for each individual camera or copied to all cameras.
High Eciency Video Coding (H.265)
The H.265 (ITU-T VCEG) video compression standard oers double the data compression rao at the same level of video quality, or substanally improved video quality at the same bit rate, as compared to older video compression technologies. H.265 oers such impressive compression by expanding the paern comparison and dierence-coding, improving moon vector predicon and moon region merging, and incorporang an addional ltering step called sample-adapve oset ltering.

1. The DORI distance is a measure of the general proximity for a specic classicaon to help pinpoint the right camera for your needs. The DORI distance is calculated based on sensor specicaons and lab test results according to EN 62676-4 , the standard that denes the criteria for the Detect, Observe, Recognize and Idenfy classicaons.
