ENERGY UPGRADE MODELS APPLICATION

1-OBJETIVE
Improve energy consumption in A class models. Actually energy consumption is one of the best
arguments for sales dealers. Although our class is A (actually is the best position), in a short future will
appear an "A class division" (A1,A2,...) and we've to adapt the product to keep this on the top.
2- HOW TO GET THE ENERGY IMPROVEMENT
Electronic circuit and micro have been changed for improve compressor running rate a make more or less
defrosts in function of the door open (if door is not opened the number of defrost will be reduced).
3- DIFFERENCES BETWEEN “ERF-..4A” AND “ERF-..4...EU”
- These models are basically similar, but for improve the energy efficiency, some components have been
changed:

- The esthetical differences are the leds position and serigraphy:

- Wiring diagrams and pcb circuits have been changed but rest of components and specifications are
similar to the previous models.
4- APPLICATION DATE: 17/03/03
5- HOW TO CONTROL IN A/S
The new components are not compatible with the previous models, so is necessary make a correct spare
order, and consider energy upgrade like completely different models for avoid confusions with spares:
- In the quality label of energy upgrade models will appear the new model name (ERF-3..A..E U)
- A/S centres must make the order according "Energy upgrade and R600 Service Manual" that
will be sent to all buyer (in this manual appears all technical information about these new models
and Isobutane models).
