Introduction

Cypress CP-281H is a YPbPr/YCbCr + Audio to HDMI Converter, which allows

you to convert the YPbPr/YCbCr and digital/analog audio output from a DVD
Player or Set-top-box equipment to the digital HDMI or DVI input of a HDTV
display. It supports high definition input/output up to 1080p.

Features

1. Compliant with HDMI 1.2, HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.0 specifications.

2. Supports a wide range of resolutions: 480i/480p/576i/576p/720p/1080i/
1080p@60Hz.

3. Supports digital audio input through Co-axial cable, or analog audio input
through L/R audio cable.

Operation Controls and Functions

Front Panel Rear Panel

1. L/R Audio Input:
Connect the L/R audio input port to the audio output port of equipment such
as DVD Player or Set-top-box.

2. YPbPr/YCbCr Input:
Connect the YPbPr/YCbCr input (3 RCA) ports to the video output ports of
equipment such as DVD Player or Set-top-box.

3. CO-AX Input:
Connect the CO-AX audio input port to the audio output port of equipment
such as DVD Player or Set-top-box using co-axial cable.

4. HDMI Output:
Connect the HDMI output port to the HDMI input of an HDMI display.

5. Power:
Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and connect the adaptor to AC
wall outlet.

6. POWER LED Indicator:
The LED will illuminate when the power is connected.

7. AUDIO IN Selection:
Select AUDIO IN source between L/R and CO-AX inputs.
