1. Introduction
The DCT-8S SRS Volume Leveler is a truly advanced HDMI to HDMI audio
repeater and decoder that incorporating SRS TruVolume™ technology
that will free you from volume fluctuations when switching TV channels. This
device is HDMI v1.3 compliant and can transfer deep color video with a high
bandwidth at speeds up to 225MHz. When using the repeater function it can
amplify your signal and use its equalization feature to regulate your tasks.
The device will prevent annoying fluctuations during commercials or bursting
sounds from action scenes. It always maintains a perfect volume level, so you
won’t miss anything during quiet conversations or light music. The HDMI SRS
TruVolume Leveller is definitely the best choice for your audio and viewing
pleasure.

POWER: Press this button to turn the device on. When the Volume Leveler
is on, pressing it again will put it in standby mode.

SRS TruVolume OFF/ON: This switch is to turn the SRS TruVolume function
on or off. When switched on the SRS TruVolume will regulate your audio
signal and when switched off the SRS TruVolume will not, so the signal will
bypass the device.

HDMI OUT: This slot is where you connect the device to an external
display, such as a TV or monitor, with an HDMI cable.
