This unit accepts both RF and AV signals and outputs a high definition signal to your PC
monitor or LCD projector/plasma TV.
It is a Multisystem tuner that can receive worldwide terrestrial broadcasting and CATV
channels.
Precautions

1. Power button- Press this button to turn the unit on or standby.
2. On/Standby Indicator- When power jack is first plugged in to the unit, the unit
will enter into standby mode and the LED will illuminate in red colour.
When the power button is pressed, the unit is turned on and the LED illuminates
in green colour. The unit is then ready for operation.
When the unit is in stand-by mode, none of the control buttons will function, only
the PC input is looping through to the VGA output.
3. Input selection- Press the button repeatedly will toggle through four input
sources available for your selection. The sequence of selection is: TV (RF)Composite Video- S-Video- PC Bypass.
4. PC Bypass Led- The LED illuminates when PC source is selected as input and is
bypassed to the output. When the other three sources are selected this LED will
not light however OSD will indicate input source on the screen.
5. Menu/Enter - Press the button to enter into OSD menu, or to confirm your
selection on the highlight parameters.
6. Channel - When not in OSD menu mode, press the up and down arrows to
increase or decrease the channel number.
When in OSD menu mode press the button to move up and down the highlight bar
to your desired parameter.
7. Volume – and +- When not in OSD menu mode, press the buttons to decrease or
increase the audio volume level.
When in OSD menu mode, press the button to alter the value of your selected
parameter.
8. Remote control sensor
NOTE- Press the up and down arrows simultaneously and it will return the
picture adjustment to the factory-preset values.
Remote Control
1. Power- This is the power on or off button.
2. Input- Press the button repeatedly to select desired input source from TV,
Composite Video, S-Video or PC.

3. TV/CATV- Press the button to select either aerial channel or cable channel.
4. Display- Press the button to turn on or off OSD display of input source on the
screen.
5. Mute- Press the button to mute the audio.
6. Sleep- Press the button to set a predetermined time (10-120 minutes) for
automatically turning off the machine.
7. MTS- Press the button to choose stereo, SAP or mono audio.
8. PAL 50/60- When video input is PAL system, depending on your selection the
unit will ether convert vertical frequency of PAL input from 50 Hz to 60 Hz or
just let 50 Hz pass through.
It is recommended that you select PAL 50, which is the factory default value,
which simply bypasses the vertical frequency to the output to obtain the best
picture quality. However, in some cases, the LCD monitor can not accept 50 Hz
vertical frequency, you have to press the button to select PAL 60 which converts
50 Hz input to 60 HZ so that the LCD monitor can lock into the frequency and
display the picture.
9. VGA/YPbPr- Press this button to select either VGA or YPbPr as output mode.
10. CH – and +- Press the up and down buttons to increase or decrease the channel
number.
11. Recall- Press this button to recall the last channel that was selected.
12. Volume – and +- Press the up and down buttons to increase or decrease the audio
volume.
13. 0 ~ 9- Press this button to select desired TV/CATV channel directly.
14. Menu/Enter- Press the button to enter into OSD menu.
15. Exit- Press the button to exit OSD.
16. Select + “– and +”- Press this button to move up or down the highlight bar of the
selected parameter.
17. – And +- Press this button to adjust the setting value of the selected parameter.
Installation
Power up the unit:
1. Plug the power jack into the power socket on the back of the unit, the power LED
will illuminate in red colour (Standby mode).
2. Press the power button, power LED will turn into a green light.
3. Press the power button again and it will return to standby mode.
4. When the unit is first powered up the default input to the unit is TV (RF) input.
When you have changed the input source and later power down the unit, the last
input source that you selected will be memorized by the unit. When you re-power
the unit the memorized input will be recalled as input source.

1. After you have powered on the unit, press the menu button in order to bring up
the main menu page. Use channel up and down arrows in order to move up or
down the highlight bar to your desired parameter. Press the Menu/Enter button to
confirm your selection.
To adjust the setting value of your selected parameter: press the volume + or
volume – button in order to increase or decrease the value of your parameter.
2. Channel Set-up menu: Select the channel set-up in the main menu.
RF Select- Select TV for receiving terrestrial VHF/UHF broadcasting channel.
Select CATV if the unit is connected to the CATV coaxial cable
Channel search- the unit will search through all channels contained in the RF
cable. Once a channel is found it will be stored in the memory and can be called
up later by pressing the channel up and down arrows or by pressing channel
number directly, or add it back to channel list.
Channel Add- To add a channel into your channel up-down memory list. Once a
channel is added to the list, it can be called up by pressing channel up/down
buttons.
Channel Delete- To remove a channel from your channel up/down memory list.
Once a channel is deleted it will be skipped from your channel up/down selection.
The only way to recall the channel is to press its channel number directly or add it
back to the channel list.
Exit- This will allow you to return to the last menu page.
Note- Channel delete and add only work after channel search is carried out.
3. Picture adjustment menu: Use channel up or down arrows to select your desired
adjustment parameter.
Brightness- Use volume +/- to increase or decrease the brightness level (1~100).
Contrast- Use volume +/- to increase or decrease the contrast level (1~100).
Colour- Use volume +/- to increase or decrease the level of colour saturation
(1~100).
Sharpness- Use volume +/- to increase or decrease the level of picture sharpness
(1~16).
Tint- NTSC ONLY- Use volume +/- to increase or decrease the tint level
(-50 ~ +50).
Reset- This button is used to recall the factory preset default values.
Exit- This allows you to return to the last menu page.
4. Output Format Menu:
Output Select-
VGA- Set the output to 720 x 480 @ 59.94 Hz mode (NTSC input). Or set the
output to 720 x 576 @ 50 Hz (PAL input).
YPbPr- Set the output to 480p for NTSC input, or 576p for PAL input.
PAL select-
50 Hz- Set to 50 Hz frame rate of PAL input will not be altered, and the output
VGA frame rate is 50 Hz.

60 Hz- Set to 60 Hz the frame rate of the PAL input will be converted from 50 Hz
to 60 Hz and the VGA frame rate is 60 Hz.

6. Other Menu:
Sleep- To set time (1~120 minutes) to automatically turn off the unit.
Display- When set to ON the selected input source, or selected TV channel
number will be indicated on the upper part of the screen. No such indication when
set to OFF.
Mute- Press the button to mute the audio output.
Exit- Return to last menu page.
Rear Panel
1. Power socket DC 12V 800mA Center positive- This is the power supply input.
The AC adaptor power unit should not be plugged into a wall outlet until all connections
are complete.
-Connect the Audio amplifier speakers into the audio output port (Number 8 on rear
panel).
-Connect your VGA output port (Number 9 on the rear panel) to your monitor or
projector.
-Connect your TV output of the RF tuner input to you TV (Number 10 on the rear
panel).
-The PC VGA Input port (Number 5 on the rear panel) accepts signals and connects to
your PC.
-The audio PC input port (Number 7 on the rear panel) allows you to pass the audio
input signal from the computer’s soundcard to the speakers. When PC is selected as
input source the soundcard audio is automatically passed on to the speakers for
normal operation.
-The Audio input connects to the Audio output associated with the Composite Video
source or S-Video source.
-Connect either your C-V In or your S-V In video port (Number 3 and 4 on the rear
panel) to your video source (VCR, DVD player or video game).
-Connect your antenna to the RF Input port (Number 2 on rear panel).
a. PAL/SECAM tuner- Connect your antenna or cable to this input if it receives
PAL or SECAM TV/Cable broadcasting program.
b. NTSC tuner- Connect your antenna or cable to this input if it receives NTSC
TV/Cable broadcasting program.
Once all connections are complete, switch the power button ON and please connect the
power supply provided to the power socket.
