1. INTRODUCTION
The EL-5400D Presentation Switch with integral scaler is designed to be used with Dual-link DVI, Mini Display-Port, and PC/Component sources allowing users to switch and scale these sources to it's HDMI output. Digital Optical and Analogue Stereo Audio inputs and outputs can be managed for bi-directional conversion, extraction, and insertion from the individual ports for full audio embedding and de-embedding functionality. Control is via the IR remote, or RS-232 protocol.

MENU/ENTER
Press this button to ENTER the OSD menu. Press again to conrm the
selection. Press it together with - button to switch output to 720p or with + button to switch output to XGA instantly.

a. “-“: When in OSD page, press this button repeatedly to move
down through the OSD selection.
b. “IN”: Press this button for quick input port selections.

+/OUT
a. “+”: When in OSD page, press this button repeatedly to move up
through the OSD selection.
b. “OUT”: Press this button for quick output resolution selections.

OPTICAL OUT
This slot is to connect to amplier with OPTICAL cable and from
amplier to speakers or directly to active speaker with OPTICAL cable.
5
AUDIO L/R OUT
This slot is to connect to speaker or amplier with 3.5mm audio phone
jack cable.
