THE BEST POSITION IN THE CAR
WARNING! Approval of the seat expires
immediately in case of any modication!
NOTE! High volume front-airbags expand explosively.
This can result in the death or injury of the child.
WARNING! Do not use the ATON 2 in front seats
equipped with activated front-airbag. This does not
apply to so-called side-airbags.
NOTE! If the baby seat is not stable or sits too steeply
in the car, you can use a blanket or a towel to
compensate. Alternatively, you should choose another
place in the car.
WARNING! Never hold a baby on your lap while
driving. Due to the enormous forces released in an
accident, it will be impossible to hold onto the baby.
Never use the same seat belt to secure yourself and
the child.
FOR THE PROTECTION OF YOUR CAR!
On some car seat covers which are made of a sensitive
material (e.g. velour, leather etc.) the use of child
seats may lead to traces of wear and tear. In
order to avoid this, you should put a blanket or a towel
underneath the child seat.

A MELHOR POSIÇÃO NO AUTOMÓVEL
ATENÇÃO! A homologação não é válida em caso
de se realizar qualquer modicação no produto!
AVISO! Os airbags frontais de grande volume expandemse de forma explosiva. Isto pode causar feridas ou,
inclusive, a morte da criança.
ATENÇÃO! Não use a ATON 2 nos bancos
dianteiros com airbag frontal activo. Isto não afecta
os airbags laterais.
AVISO! Se a cadeira infantil não está estável ou bem
instalada poderá utilizar uma toalha ou uma manta para
compensar. Poderá também utilizar, alternativamente,
outro assento de automóvel.
ATENÇÃO! Nunca coloque o bebé ao seu colo
enquanto conduz. Devido a enormes forças que
se desencadeiam num acidente, será impossível
segurar o bebé. Nunca use o mesmo cinto para
prender a si e o seu bebé.
PARA A PROTECÇÃO DO SEU AUTOMÓVEL!
Em alguns bancos de automóvel fabricados com
materiais sensíveis (por exemplo: couro, veludo, etc...)
o uso da cadeira infantil pode deixar marcas de uso
e/ou desgate. Para evitá-lo, deverá colocar uma manta
ou uma toalha por debaixo da cadeira.
LA MEJOR POSICIÓN EN EL AUTOMÓVIL
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡La homologación del producto naliza
inmediatamente si se realiza sobre él cualquier
modicación!
¡AVISO! Los airbags frontales de gran volumen se
expanden explosivamente. Esto puede causar heridas o
incluso la muerte del niño.
¡ATENCIÓN! No use la CYBEX ATON 2 en asientos
frontales con el airbag frontal activado. Esto no
afecta a los llamados airbags laterales.
¡AVISO! Si la silla infantil no es estable o no queda bien
instalada, puede utilizar una sábana o una toalla para
compensarla. También puede utilizar otro asiento del
automóvil.
¡ATENCIÓN! Nunca sujete a un bebé en su regazo
mientras conduce. Debido a las enormes fuerzas
que se desencadenan en un accidente, será
imposible retener al bebé. Nunca use el mismo
cinturón para asegurarse a usted y al bebé.
¡PARA LA PROTECCIÓN DE SU AUTOMÓVIL!
En algunos asientos de automóvil realizados con material
sensible (por ejemplo cuero, terciopelo, etc.), el uso de
la silla de seguridad infantil puede dejar marcas de uso y
desgaste. Para evitarlo, debería poner una sábana o una
toalla bajo la silla infantil.

CARRYING HANDLE ADJUSTMENT
WARNING! Always secure the baby with the
integrated harness system.
The carrying handle can be adjusted into three different
positions:
A: Carrying/Driving-Position.
B: For placing the baby in the seat.
C: Safe sitting position outside the car.
NOTE! When using ATON 2 in combination with ATON
Base or ATON Base-x the driving-position of the handle
changes from A to B.
WARNING! In order to avoid unwanted tilting of the
seat whilst carrying, make sure that the handle is
locked in the carrying position A.
• In order to adjust the handle press buttons b on left
and right side on the handle a.
• Adjust the carrying handle a to the desired position by
pressing the buttons b.

REGULAÇÃO DA ASA DE TRANSPORTE
ATENÇÃO! Coloque sempre o bebé com o sistema
de cintos integrado.
A asa de transporte pode ser regulada em 3 posições.
A: Posição de transporte / no veículo
B: Para colocar o bebé na cadeira
C: Posição segura fora do automóvel
ATENÇÃO! Quando utilizar a ATON 2 na base ISOFIX,
a asa de transporte deve ser mudada da posição A à
posição B.
ATENÇÃO! Para evitar uma inclinação não
desejada da cadeira quando a transporta, certiquese de que a asa está bloqueada na posição de
transporte A.
• Para regular a asa pressione os botões b em ambos
os lados da asa a.
• Regule a asa de transporte a à posição pretendida
pressionando sobre os botões b.
AJUSTE DEL ASA DE TRANSPORTE
¡ATENCIÓN! Asegure siempre al bebé con el
sistema de arneses integrado.
El asa de transporte puede ajustarse en 3 diferentes
posiciones.
A: Posición de transporte / en el vehículo
B: Para situar al bebé en la silla
C: Posición segura fuera del automóvil
¡ATENCIÓN! Cuando se use la ATON 2 en la base
ISOFIX, el asa de transporte debe cambiarse de la
posición A a la posición B.
¡ATENCIÓN! Para evitar una inclinación no
deseada de la silla cuando se transporta, asegúrese
de que el asa está bloqueada en la posición de
transporte A.
• Para ajustar el asa presione los botones b a
ambos lados del asa a.
• Ajuste el asa de transporte a a la posición deseada
presionando sobre los botones b.

ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER BELTS
NOTE! Only if the shoulder belts c are adjusted correctly
optimum security can be provided.
• When the baby is approximately 3 months the seat
insert can be removed to provide enough space for
the child (see page 27).
• The height of the shoulder belts c must be adjusted
in such a way that they run through the belt slots s
directly above the baby‘s shoulders.
To adjust the height of the shoulder belts c please follow
the next steps:
• Press the red button to open the buckle e.
• Pull the shoulder pads d over the belt tongues t to
remove them.
• First pull one buckle tongue t through the cover and
out of the belt slot s. Now insert it again through the
next higher slot. Repeat this step to adjust the other
side as well.
NOTE! Please make sure that the shoulder belts c are
not twisted but should lie at against the main seat, run
evenly through the belt slots s and down to the buckle e.

REGULAÇÃO DOS CINTOS
AVISO! Só quando os cintos c estiverem regulados e
ajustados correctamente é que será assegurada a melhor
segurança possível.
• Quando o bebé tiver aproximadamente 3 meses, o
redutor pode ser retirado para proporcionar suciente
espaço à criança (ver página 28).
• A altura dos cintos c deve ser regulada de forma a
que passem através das ranhuras s directamente por
detrás dos ombros do bebé.
Para regular a altura dos cintos c siga os seguintes
passos:
• Pressione o botão vermelho para abrir o fecho e.
• Puxe da zona dos ombros d através das abas t para
extrai-los.
• Puxe uma das abas do fecho t através da capa e fora
da ranhura do cinto.
AVISO! Certique-se de que os cintos c não estão
enrolados, e que passam sem problemas através das
ranhuras s até o fecho e.
AJUSTE DE LOS CINTURONES
¡AVISO! Sólo puede proporcionarse una seguridad
óptima si los cinturones c están ajustados correctamente.
• Cuando el bebé tenga aproximadamente 3 meses, el
reductor puede retirarse para proporcionar suciente
espacio al niño (vea la página 28).
• La altura de los cinturones c debe ajustarse de forma
que pasen a través de las ranuras s directamente
detrás de los hombros del bebé.
Para ajustar la altura de los cinturones c siga los
siguientes pasos:
• Presione el botón rojo para abrir el cierre e.
• Tire de las hombreras d a través de las lengüetas t
para extraerlas.
• Tire de una de las lengüetas de cierre t a través de la
funda y fuera de la ranura del cinturón.
¡AVISO! Asegúrese de que los cinturones c no estén
enrollados, sino que queden planos sobre la silla y pasen
sin trabas a través de las ranuras s hacia el cierre e.

SAFETY FOR YOUR BABY
NOTE! Always secure the baby in the child seat and
never leave your child unattended when putting the
ATON 2 on elevated surfaces (e.g. diaper changing
table, table, bench ...).
WARNING! Plastic parts of ATON 2 heat up in the
sun. Your baby may get burnt. Protect your baby
and the car seat from intense exposure to the sun
(e.g. putting a white blanket over the seat).
• Take your baby out of the car seat as often as
possible in order to relax its spine.
• Interrupt longer journeys. Remember this as well,
when using the ATON 2 outside the car.
NOTE! Never leave your child in the car unattended.
