CPS140BI contains a f use inside in the Li ghter Adapter (see Figure 2) t o protect the unit against
overloadi ng. If the invert er draws more than 140 watt s, the inter nal fuse may be bl own to prot ect
the in verter, vehi cle bat tery and the connec ted equipment. To replace the f use, pl ease foll ow the
instruc tion bel ow:
1. Unplug the invert er from the power source.
2. Remove t he Contact Scr ew from the Light er Adapter.
3. Replac e the 15 amper e fuse.
4. Reassemble the f use, cont act pin and contac t screw car efully.
5. Ensure all pieces showed i n Figure 2 are instal led i n the sequence shown.
*Note: For in-warrantyunits, the replacement fuse canbe obtained from CyberPower
TechnicalSupport. For out-of-warranty units, thereplacement 15 ampere fuse canbe obtained
from most electronicsupply retailers.
